Description: "Restaurant AGAVA" - a place where fine dining truly meets a casual atmosfere. This is very special place, a bit hidden, a bit shy...A classic Italian restaurant filled with subtle dark colours and distinctive lightning. Wide windows provide an unique view, and in spring and summer the green terrace will attract you immediately. The restaurant was opened in 2005. It is runned by Belizar Milos (owner/partner) who is also the main chef, responsible for many mediterranean delices and beyond. So, come to the number 39 of Tklaciceva street... It'll take you 39 staircases to come to your little hiding place.

We went early on in the evening for a meal, atmosphere wasn't great to start because it was so quiet, but our waiter quickly made up for that! Drinks were served quickly, and food followed soon after, beautifully presented and tasted gorgeous. Couldn't fault the flavor at all. If your going, try the semmi-freddo for dessert! Amazing! Would definitely recommend going here.

The location is excellent as it's on a great walking strip with lots of shops and restaurants. The dinner was really delicious. We probably spent about $70 for dinner for two. The service was attentive and friendly. Highly recommend.

We enjoyed a nice dinner on Agava's patio where we could enjoy the lovely weather. The waiter was friendly and professional, offering suggestions and descriptions of the food. I was encouraged to try a typical Croatian dish of specially prepared beef. I am not usually a beef eater, but I really liked the sauce it was prepared in and the homemade gnocchi that accompanied it. A salad was also good and the chocolate cake delicious. My travel companion choose a trout which was also good. Reasonably priced, good food, good service......all adds up to a nice meal.

Great location, easy to find and has delightful atmosphere. Service was out standing (friendly, jovial, yet absolutely professional). When I requested a single G&T in a tall glass, rather than risk getting it wrong, our waiter delivered all the tools and ingredients, perfectly presented, so that I could build the perfect gin just how I like it. The meal was excellent, great flavours, good portion size, nice presentation. Very affordable & good value. One of the best meals in 3 weeks of travelling in Croatia.
