I was very positively suprised when I arrived at the hotel !

Host : Dino is extremely friendly. He came to pick me up at the tram station while it was dark and rainy outside. He has been very nice and helpful all along my stay at Camera Felice.

Location : ideally located, 10min walk to the city central square (2min tram ride, tram station at 100meters). The windows of the rooms open on a square and a road with few traffic. No reason to worry about the noise (no tram at night and double glazing).

Room : confortable, clean and well equiped with large bathroom, tv, wifi, extra blankets and pillows or air conditioned, coffee and tea maker and a fridge.
Cleaning of the room and clean towels every two days.

Very good and honest price for the quality of this accomodation !!

Room Tip: double room has a balcony !

The host was warm and welcoming, the studio neat and appealing, located a 20min walk to old town, and the city centre or short cab ride to the main train station and other sites.

Croatia is far from a smoke-free environment, and time spent with the host (and in common areas) would be difficult for anyone especially sensitive to cigarette smoke. The room was fairly fresh though, with a new/clean bathroom, and good cable TV and wi-fi.

Overall we would have liked to have stayed an extra night in Zagreb but time didn't allow it.

Taking into account smoke and cash-only, I'd probably stay a bit closer to the centre next time though as not much was close to this place, .

We had a very good experience at the Camera Felice and would recommend it! The rooms were simple and clean, with comfortable beds and VERY nice ensuite bathrooms. It was about a 15 minute walk to the city centre, or a cheap cab ride away.

The hotel owners/staff were awesome! They were incredibly helpful for restaurant/bar suggestions, they called the bus station to inquire travel information for us, made dinner reservations for us (when we texted them midday), and were extremely willing to call taxis on demand! They were so friendly and helpful for all of our needs and made for a very enjoyable stay!

"We had such a great experience at the Camera Felice that we would highly recommend it to anyone staying in Zagreb. The room was simple, clean and cosy, with really comfortable beds, and came with a little fridge and kettle that turned out to be most convenient. The shower in the en-suite bathroom was hot and powerful, and the location was just perfect- just a ten to fifteen minute walk to the city centre, or a two minute walk to the nearest tram stop. But what we liked the most was the friendliness and helpfulness of the hotel owners- when we arrived, we were warmly greeted and given some very good advice on local places where we could visit and eat. And when we left, the owner not only arranged for a taxi to come take us to the airport, but was so kind as to arrange for our international postcards to be sent out. Thank you so much for a lovely stay!"

A cozy little room in a nice area of Zagreb. Plenty of space, very comfortable bed, nice decor, and a large shower with plenty of hot water. Dino was a great host, giving recommendations for what to do in the area and calling a taxi for us to get to the airport on our last day. The place is in a nice location near shops and a cute little park. Also, close to two tram lines so you can easily get to the old town, the main train station, the main bus station, and just about anywhere else with ease.

just walking distance from centre of town, this two rooms small guest house is very clean and comfortable,
the owner Dino is very friendly, but is not there all the time.
the rooms are reasonable size and clean and have double glazing.
the problem that our rooms were not been clean in the three nights that we stayed there, and if we needed something, we had to call Dino ( and if you do not have a Croatian phone, it can be expensive)
overall pleasant stay.

My daughter and I spent 3 days in the "green" room of the Camera Felice this past week - and it is exactly as advertised. We arrived at Zagreb airport in the evening, then took the airport bus into the central bus depot, where we got a very tasty bunwich before taking a taxi to the Camera Felice. Dino was there to greet us, as promised.

It is true that it is a little tricky to find the first time, but once you've found it, returning after a day in town is a piece of cake. We just loved Zagreb. It is a relaxed and very friendly city, with at least 2 coffee bars on every block. Although there are frequent trams, we walked everywhere, as the city is not that big. We particularly enjoyed the Dolac market and the Botanical Gardens.

One thing we found a bit odd is that none of the coffee bars serve food. The good news is that none of them seem to mind if you eat food purchased elsewhere at them.

The room we had was more than comfortable, with an excellent shower, fridge, kettle and comfortable beds. Dino was very helpful, recommending a bar/restaurant at 49 Ilica which was just right for us - reasonable and friendly. There are Konsum grocery stores everywhere if you wish to purchase your own food, There are plenty of bank machines in Zagreb.

We are currently in Split, which is overwhelmed with tourists. To our surprise, we have discovered that we prefer Zagreb to Split, beautiful though it is.

I would not hesitate to recommend the Camera Felice to anyone wishing to spend a few days in Zagreb.
