The hotel is grand and classic, the location is very conveniently although it's a bit of a walk to the Ban Jelačić Square/sightseeing area. The staff at check-in and check-out were super friendly and that gave a very good impression of the hotel. (Other staff were not as warm but were still helpful.)
The room was spacious, we added an extra bed and it didn't make the room less so. But the placement of the bed was a little awkward, it was right in front of the bathroom. The bed and pillow were just right for me, as sometimes both get a bit too soft in European hotels. The TV is a bit small and not very clear, so we switched it off after a few minutes.
The waterflow for the shower was strong and stable and I love the rainforest shower head.
All in all, it was a wonderful stay, but I would choose a hotel near the Ban Jelačić Square to save the walk.
