Spent five nights in early September at the Puntijar. We were part of a large group and with special surprise they gave us the only room with a balcony. The room was large and clean. The bathroom was modern, large and clean and the hot water was plentiful.
The hotel is more like a museum with artwork and historical books spread throughout the floors of the hotel.
There is an elevator, a restaurant across the driveway (also owned by the Puntijar) breakfast was served in the main hotel lobby and there is a bar on site.
This is a very hands on operation; the owner and his daughter run the hotel and the restaurant so if you like hotels that take care of the fine details and take care of their guests this would be a good place to start your Croatian vacation.
If it not in the heart of the city however, but it makes for a much quieter stay.
