Stayed in this hotel for 2 nights in July at the end of our ten days tour in Romania.
Good points: Location - right in the center of Bucharest, close to main attractions, bars and restaurants. Good size room, quiet street. Staff is friendly and speak English.

The bad points, however outnumber the good points:
There was mould on the grout around the bath, and mildew on the shower curtain at the bottom.
The bath is an odd shape which makes it difficult standing up to have a shower.
The air conditioning started dripping during the night; in the end we had to switch it off as there was too much dripping noise to sleep, and slept in hot room. We informed the receptionist the next morning, and although she promised that she will get someone to repair it, nothing was done, therefore we had to spend the second night either listening to the drips or being to hot to sleep when the AC was off.
The fan in the bathroom didn't work, therefore the bathroom became very steamy and hot when we had a shower. Again the receptionist was made aware of this but nothing was done.
The shaver point in the bathroom didn't work.
There was dust on the bottom part of the furniture - obviously that area doesn't get cleaned very often.
Pillows were too hard.
The chair for the dressing table was quite wobbly.
The room balcony was dirty, full of birds' droppings.
The hotel uses their own exchange rate, far lower than the tourist rate. We ended up paying £6 more than the price shown on booking.com. We spent 10 days in Romania in 5 different hotels, and this was the only one which used this type of charging.
The breakfast room was quite warm, air conditioning was not turned on although it was a hot day. On our second breakfast the cheese and meets didn't seem very fresh.
The wifi was not working.

Good hotel in quiet side street off main road to city centre. Just outside comfortable walking distance but taxis are easy and cheap. No dining but breakfast downstairs in basement is fully satisfactory. Rooms are very good standard and service is excellent. There is a quiet small bar which serves as a public space. A few car parking spaces could be useful if you risk the driving in Bucharest. Good value.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights. Excellent location - it is just 5 min walk from Romanian Athenaeum and close to other notable sites. We appreciated this ambient area with multiple cafés nearby.
Hotel staff is friendly and speak English fairly good. Breakfast is overpriced (15 EUR) but there are many options outside. Room was enough big for two adults, clean and stylish. Good value for money.

Wireless wifi not working properly, had to setup my own wifi access point with Ethernet cable.
Really annoying on a business trip.

No air conditioning remote in my room & they wouldn't send one at night, had to wait till morning and checkout, useless.

Tv channels not setup well, one out of two channels was static.

Breakfast a bit sad in the basement.

A very unpleasant experience with a very unprofessional staff! Restrictive and unhuman policy in terms of reservations. After I made a reservation and due to illness I couldn't travel, the hotel still charged the full amount. Not to be recommended at all.
