“Perfect location in Bucharesti”
Reviewed 4 June 2014

This is a good place to stay: excellent location by Uniril with the central square/park in front and the charming old town just behind, very friendly and service-minded staff specially in the reseption, good breakfast in the restaurant in front by the entrance. The hotel is quite new(?) or restored in an old charming building, everything done for a new look inside. We had 4 different rooms, in the 5.th with great view, in the 4.th also with small balcony. Room OK, may be little oldfashion sofa, bathroom OK, only thing to say the bed was a little hard for me. The hotel has no spa or massage, but it is a lot of possibilities in Buccharesti, in the old town spesially possible for good body treatment of all kinds! All together, we found Bucharesti interesting, a town with great history and good restaurants. I think it is only in the beginning for tourism. We also had a daytrip to the conuntryside, all arranged by the hotel. like the transfer by limo from/to airport. As the matter of fact, we also found the town clean and safe, no problems! At least: they have an ATM inside the entrance.

Room Tip: 4th. or 5th. floor, faced to the park. We had no problems with noice from the heavy trafic down on t...

The good things: Rooms are big, wifi works quite well. Excelent conferece rooms. Close to city centre and the old town with all that has to offer. Staff helpfull and its got a quite good restaurant.
On the downside: Bathrooms could do with a makeover.
Overall: I'll have no problem staying there again.

The Good things:
1. Rooms are big and clean.
2. Perfect Location, 10 minutes walking from Unirii square.

The Bad things:
1. They were not prepared for the early check-in although we've contacted them before so we stayed in a very small for a couple of hours.
2. The A/C wasn't working well so we had to change the room twice, and still the same problem existed so we had to keep the window open all day long.

But overall, if I have the opportunity to go again, I'll definitely grap it..

Good position close to the city centre and rooms not small. Furniture a little old-style, but in good conditions. Also the restaurant is not bad and especially not expensive. Wifi requires autentication but is quite stable.
Few black marks are:
- bath tub quite unconfortable (no possibility to use it as a shower and if you use it as whirlpool you should expect some hairs floating on the water...)
- temperature very hot (usual in Romania)

Let me start saying that there are some good points in choosing this hotel: good location, good overall looking; nice staff; reasonable price, large rooms. But, on the other hand, I would never choose that hotel for a second time. Bad points: no shower, short hose for hand shower with no hanging place, unreliable wi-fi with a time-consuming double step to log in once connected, lousy breakfast and... finally... some odd orthopaedic advice suggesting hard wooden tables to sleep upon instead of an easy-going ordinary mattress.

Room Tip: Try to ask if they have a room with normal shower or -at least- with a hose which is long enough to...

Considering that this hotel is aimed at business trips, I found it to serve my needs adequately when I traveled to Bucharest. It's close to the older part of the city, surrounded by modern concrete giants, these older streets provide some entertainment in the form of restaurants and pubs, but other than that the hotel is nothing amazing. The hotel is usable if you have to do business in it's proximity. There was a small glitch with my door card, but together with the receptionist we solved it. The room shows small signs of wear and tear hear and there that you'll notice on closer inspection. Bathroom was clean and the appliances worked when needed.

The hotel smells of cigarette everywhere... Even in the rooms. Wifi is not very good everywhere and it constantly disconnects after some time (you have to supply credential). Breakfast is poor...
Other than that stuff speaks English but not everyone are happy to assist
