We selected this hotel based on its location and price range upon arriving in Bucharest at 7am. What a great find! They let us check in early and were so accommodating from the minute we stepped out of the taxi. This hotel offers great service, yummy breakfast included, and a super comfortable room with a great shower! We can easily walk to museums and sites. I would come here again.

I was surprised to see that one traveler thought the breakfast was "not amazing." I thought it was by far the best I had while touring Romania. We are vegetarians, and perhaps that accounts for the differing perceptions because in addition to eggs, bacon, & sausage they included a cheese tray, salads, fruits, whole grain rolls and breads. Everything was fresh and well-seasoned (unusual in Romania.)

The mattress and pillows were very comfortable; the towels were on the large side. While the room was not large, it was ample with two small chairs and a table.

The hotel does not provide wash cloths (none of our hotels in Romania did) so if you want one, bring your own. No magnifying mirror for make-up and lighting isn't adequate either so bring s lighted travel mirror if you want one. Hair dryers are available.

They have a handicap ramp, but it's so long, steep and narrow I can't imagine anyone actually using it.

The hotel is about 4 or 5 blocks to the center of town where you will have to go to find other restaurants.

Our room faced an alley and one of Bucharest's many dogs gave us a serenade for hours. When we arrived in our room the air conditioner was on so we didn't check the window - assuming it was closed. Wrong. It was open! As soon as closed it the barking became a non-issue.

Staff spoke English, but when I needed to connect with an International Operator to call my credit card company they had no idea what I wanted. After I got home I checked on the internet and one website said to dial 971 from a local LAN line. I'm not sure if this would have worked, but worth a try.

Very good quality/price rate. Nice rooms, very well conditioned. Only the toilet is a bit too tiny. Breakfast is not amazing, but still fairly good. The location is nor the best possible in Bucharest, but is very convenient to city centre.

This small boutique hotel is well located (if invisible to cab drivers; several cab drivers refused the fare from the train station because they claimed not to know its location).

Modern hotel, entrance in basement level, decent sized rooms, great breakfast, and helpful staff. (especially Adriana on day shift). Food was surprisingly good both for the breakfast (which may or may not be included depending on your booking) and off the menu orders. .

Nothing fancy about the rooms (the sheer curtains in which were dusty and could use a wash) but good beds and a electric water boiler provided as well as a small refrigerator. Modern bathrooms with plenty of hot water.

Best asset: Premiere location near many major sights and very close to some of the best and most expensive hotels in the city. Near the amazing Budapest Art Museum, Parliament, and close to the subway.

NOTE; in arriving by train there is a cab company called Meridien which promises fair fares and a low per kilometer rate (one of the many taxi scams in Bucharest is the wide variation in the per-kilometer cab price). If the driver knows where s/he is going use the meter; if not negotiate a fixed fare. This hotel is located only a few miles from the train station but if the driver doesn't know the property seek out another one.

Room Tip: The hotel is in a quiet location so most rooms are OK on noise but the higher the better.

Had one night to spend in Bucharest and our tour booked us in this nice roomy (by European standards) hotel. The room was very comfortable, quiet and close to activities in downtown Bucharest. Surprisingly they only provided one bath towel (but 2 bath robes) in a double room so ask for an extra if there are 2 people.

The included breakfast was nicer than most included hotel buffet breakfasts.

Friendliness and helpfulness of staff varied.
