We rented a one bedroom apartment for 8 nights. It was wonderful, the building is exquisite - it is a historical monument, beautifully restored...
The apartment was homey, very spacious. with generous kitchen space and living room. and we also had a washing machine, usefull indeed as we were after almost one month trip. Bathroom very largen with full-size tub. Very clean space.
Inside the unit, it is soo quiet, even if the entrance in the building is from a way too busy blvd. Maybe not very bright apartment, overlooking an inner courtyard, but I prefer more the tranquility..
We hired as well the company private transfer service from the airport to the accommodation. Seems a bit expesive at first, but it is not at al.
Location verygood, near Universitat, which is the center. Old Town at few minutes walk. Near are two supermarkets - one pened 24 hours.
We highly recommend this place! Much better than getting a hotel room because you can have breakfast in the morning and save money for shopping :)
The 4th or 5th time I have booked a room through www.in-bucharest.com, and I can't speak highly enough of it.
Good choice of nicely furnished, centrally located, clean, very reasonably priced apartments in Bucharest.
Simona is also an extremely kind and helpful contact person.
This particular apartment (Cellini) is just behind the Intercontinental Hotel in Piata Universitate, and I will not try to make another choice next time I travel to Bucharest.
