Hotel Christina's location offers easy access to major boulevards and still preserves some secludedness at the same time. It's not far from the old town by walk. From there, you can also reach the Piatia Unirii (Unification Square) with an additional about 15 mins walk. In that square, it's a great joy to join local folks waiting in long lines to buy their Covrigi (a little similar to pretzels, but much better IMO). By turning west there, you will be reaching the gigantic parliament building after another more or less 15 mins walk. There are 2 grocery stores near Christina: Metroplis Center and Billa (both within 10 mins range). The hotel staffs are very friendly and helpful. The hotel owner is nice, warm, knowledgeable and humorous. As already noted in another review, the hotel's breakfast is excellent.
