I found this hotel on trip advisor. It is in a good location, the hotel is truely gorgeous . My only issue was wi fi in my room was intermittent and the noise from the road however ear plugs sorted it out and I slept very well.

This a fabulous hotel, the restaurant food is superb. If you are looking for a romantic retreat or just just to feel spoilt , stay here. I shall go back.

Room Tip: If you don't want to hear road noise and cars beeping ask for a room at the back. If you want a...

This incredibly attractive hotel oozes with charm. From the moment you step into the lobby you feel as if you've stepped back in time - it's simply elegant. The well-appointed rooms are superb -even the standard rooms. They are lovingly decorated with fine attention to detail & the bed was very comfortable. The staff is helpful, especially Marius. The lovely courtyard restaurant in the back of the hotel is first-rate - service, food & presentation were all wonderful (red wine by the glass was just average though) - it's not your typical 'hotel' restaurant. The location is excellent as well and is walking distance to Old Town. Our only complaint is about our to-go breakfast - even after confirming (twice) our to-go breakfast was still wrong. It's a minor complaint to an overall great experience and wonderful stay. I definitely recommend this gem of a hotel during your stay in Bucharest.

We stayed here for a weekend. The hotel is thought through in to the smallest detail. Every corner has something which shows the owner's heart and soul. The rooms are clean and beautiful. The staff is friendly. It was an overall beautiful stay. We will come back for sure!

My wife and I loved our stay at the Scala hotel, in C.A.Rosetti street. Very stylishly renovated villa (belonged to the doctor of the former royal family), this boutique hotel has nice rooms, very good service, and a very atmospheric restaurant in the large backyard.

An old villa in the middle of Bucharest, complete with dark wood paneling and antiques, couldn't be a nicer place to stay. As you step in the entrance you immediately feel comfortable. The atmosphere has definitely a 'wow' factor about it. The rooms extremely comfortable with original old furniture, hand written cards with information - touches of detail abound. Breakfast excellent. Staff helpful and friendly. No complaints at all. It deserves the excellent reviews. Stay. You won't be disappointed.

We booked two rooms for us and our children. We arrived late and were checked in without fuss. The rooms were very clean and well appointed and ours had a lovely balcony. Staff were polite and helpful. Breakfast was good with a reasonable choice.
A good location, which had easy links to key areas of the city. We didn't eat at the hotel but it did look charming.
Down sides - lack of a lift a killer carrying suitcase up to second floor, very uncomfortable beds like sleeping on concrete! And finally although hotel says it takes American express when it came to pay so say the Amex line had trouble, the receptionist would even try it. Although I have read on previous reviews that this has happened before. If the increased transaction charge is the reason then don't say you accept it.
Anyway overall these were minor in what was a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Would recommend .

I am always happy to stay at this boutique hotel. the standard room (at 70 euro) is really top quality. Large room with big and comfortable bed. The daily breakfast is delicious one. Wifi is strong and works perfectly everywhere.

Room Tip: the only problem might be with parking space. I was told the room prices via hotel website are too b...
