I stayed in #7 for 21 days in May 2014. It is located in the Asmita Gardens highrise complex. I was told these buildings are some of the most expensive in Bucharest - at least to purchase. It seems like many of the apartments were still empty.
I was a little disappointed with Razvan as he was "going out of the country" the day I arrived. I had arranged for my local friend there to pick up the key during the day so she could stock the place with food. When she called him, he wasn't even sure which apartment I was renting. He finally told her "the green one". In the end, it all worked out but for awhile i wasn't sure there would be a place waiting for me upon arrival around midnight.
Over all, I really liked the apartment. It has great views from the 8th floor and was very quiet. The bed was very comfortable and most of the furniture OK but nothing special. While I enjoyed the apt, there were some irritations. The cable TV didn't work and Razvan's parents had to make a special trip to fix it.....no professional connectors, just two wire bent together. Then, the Internet didn't work for 3 days but I'm not sure whose fault this was. Many of the light bulbs were burned out and I replaced several myself. A few wall sockets came out of the walls when I unplugged from them. The shower head was old and water sprayed everywhere. The shower hose was also old and certain movements cut off the water flow completely. The hall light fixture just sort of hung from the wall like it might fall at any time.
Having now complained enough, I liked the location and the apt layout. it has two bathrooms (one only a sink and toilet). The clothes washer worked great and there is a rack for drying the wet clothes. The patio is large with furniture for sitting and eating - if only the weather had been warm enough to do so, The TV is large with a good picture. The windows are all doubled paned to keep the cold out in the winter.
Every three days, the maid (Razvan's mother I believe) came in to clean. The towels were changed each time with the bed sheets once a week.
Within walking distance of the complex, there is the Sun Plaza Mall with its fast food court and shops. Across the street are a series of wonderful parks for walking, biking, rollerblading, or even doing a workout on the equipment there. Also within one of the parks is an amusement park with rides and lots of food.
Outside the complex, construction on a bridge is in full swing. I was told it's been under construction for years with more work left to be completed. Near the bridge are at least 3 bank branches with ATMs available.
Oh yes, within the apt complex, there is a small market that has a good variety of items - if somewhat expensive. There is also a nicely appointment gym and swimming pool - although the pool wasn't yet open during my stay.
In conclusion, I would definitely stay here again - with hope that the minor irritations will be fixed. I can't speak to any of the other apartments available from LUX but I really liked #7.
