“Day trip to Sinaia Monastery/Peles Castle/Brasov/Bran Castle”
Reviewed 2 July 2014

Very good value tour that provides an excellent compromise if you are staying in Bucharest for a short period of time but wish to see some of the beautiful Romanian countryside and historical castles for which the country is justly famous. The price is reasonable and especially convenient was the pick up and drop off from the door of the hotel - after a fair bit of travelling, we found that very welcome!
The only issue - a minor one - is that Peles Castle and Bran Castle probably deserve a little more time to be appreciated that can be possible on this tour, due to time constraints and lengthy travel from Bucharest. Having said this, our guide Rodica was excellent: very knowledgeable, informative and accommodating within the scope of what was possible in the time frame. Moreover, without this tour, my girlfriend and I would not feasibly have been able to see them at all, due to costs and the difficulties of making potentially very difficult travel arrangements.
Highly recommended.

“Day trip to Draculas castle”
Reviewed 1 July 2014

Being a poor backpacker/flashpacker I had debated with myself for a few weeks about whether to do the trip solo or pay for a tour. After some research this was by far the best value with tickets included in the price! Our tour guide was amazing, I forget her name but she was really funny & knowledgeable. Thw day was full of laughs, great sights & interesting facts. So glad I did it!

“Day trip to Bran Castle and Sinaia Monastery”
Reviewed 30 June 2014

I had originally planned to take the train from Bucharest to Brasov and travel independently to Bran Castle and Sinaia Monastery. However, I saw a leaflet advertising the day trip to Transylvania at the Europa Royale Hotel and at 69 Euros it seemed like a good deal. The minibus arrived promptly at the agreed time and I was part of a friendly group with six other tourists. The journey was smooth and comfortable with some interesting conversation along the way. We covered a lot of ground in one day, taking in Bran Castle, Peles Castle, Sinaia Monastery and the charming town of Brasov. Our guide Rodica was pleasant and extremely knowledgeable. She gave us lots of interesting facts and information not only about the history of our destination but also about life in present day Romania. I'd strongly recommend this trip, particularly if you're travelling on your own or as a couple and you want to learn about Romania's rich history or see more of the country outside Bucharest.

“Day trip to Sinaia Monastery”
Reviewed 26 June 2014

We could not praise Mary and Mr Tripp highly enough! Excellent advice. Thoroughly enjoyed our day with Christin as our guide. Unfortunately it was such a wet day we did not get the full view of the mountains but as we were given such a lot of geographical and historical information the day just flew! Would certainly book with this company again when in Bucharest.

“Excellent day trip to Transylvania”
Reviewed 23 June 2014

We took the day trip to Transylvania with Mr Tripp, and thought it was excellent. We were picked up bang on time, and were taken to Peles Castle, Siniaia Monastery, Bran Castle and Brasov (see other reviews). Our guide Mary was great, and happy to answer our questions and she flexed the tour according to what the group wanted to do. The group size was perfect, though our driver’s speed and risk-taking was a bit hairy at times! Overall an excellent trip, and the best day of our time in Romania!
