So it is a ok hotel, the guy at the front desk made me wait for like 45min when i came because i arrived arround 2 in the night, although he appologised several times, when you come at 2 in the night you really want to sleep not to hear appologies.
I woke up in the morning and went to have breakfast.
The person in that kitchen ( which i can only assume was some kind of student or something) said that he cannot serve me because there is something wrong with something and to go to the front desk. I told him he should do that and i started getting some food to his awe. He than went to the front desk and returned quietly.
Breakfast was good, lots of variety, very good selection, very decent.
The restaurant is a kind of retro place, really interesting.
Then i checked out and left to the train station.
that was all.

First of all we want to thank you for your time spent to write about your stay at hotel Ibis Gara de Nord Bucuresti.
I am sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations and for that please allow me to express my sincerest apologies. Indeed, during the night shift the receptionist is running administration software which usually can take up to 60 minutes. Unfortunately, due to some software error, the receptionist was not able to check the available rooms and he had to wait until the procedure was finished.
Regarding the restaurant/breakfast inconvenient with the employee from there, as you presumed, he was a trainee, who unfortunately acted unprofessionally.
Thank you for showing us the points where we need improvements and please rest assured that we are taking the appropriate measures to prevent future occurrence.
We apologize again for the inconvenient and hope that overall you had a pleasant stay at our hotel and you will choose us again for your trip to Bucharest!

Huge hotel
Very clean
Good location
Very quiet rooms
Very RICH buffet breakfast

Disadvantages

Windows do not open
Helpful but Unfriendly staff!

The main quality of this hotel is its location near the Gara de Nord, even if this is not really the best neighborhood in Bucharest. At least it's quite near of the center. Pricewise it's quite OK, very clean, employees are polite and helpful. Free WiFi is good too.
However it was very hot in my room and it was not possible to start the air conditioning or open the window.
In the end it's a good hotel for 1-2 nights if you're not looking for high end comfort or a nice neighborhood, just something practical.

the room cleaning everyday was not properly done , no shampo fullfilled , no change of towels everyday , no heating as by client request , no change of sheets in three days of staying , no washing or changing the water glasses for the whole stay, in the bathroom was put only a showercap for two persons and nothing else!!

I stayed here on my own, and it is only a 2 minute walk from Gare Du Nord station. The area around Gare du Nord isn't very inviting but coming from the airport, this was ideal as all the buses/trains go here. The hotel is very smart and clean, free wifi in the room, and the staff very helpful. Nice bar food too! I only stayed one night but I would recommend if I ever stayed in Bucharest again.

It is a correct hotel, you pay for what you get. Rooms are clean, breakfast ok, people are fine. That's just what you expect to get for the cash you pay, nothing more, nothing less. The position is an advantage, being very close to subway station and railway station.
