“Interesting pillars to shoot.”
Reviewed 7 May 2014

The pillars in the front of the church are great for shooting pictures, especially when the sun is low.

Sadly, you can't take pictures inside, just as in many other churches around. I find this ban strange, as it doesn't only ban flash use, but camera use in general.

“An ok church.”
Reviewed 12 March 2014

This is just another church in Bucharest.
Of course it has its historical importance, but it is not that impressive, visually.
We arrived at the church during a freezing evening while a ceremony was being held inside.
While the wall paintings were nice, the acoustics of the place was not and there was a very strange reverb effect that was not so pleasant on the ears. This is why we left after 5 minutes.
There were also some renovations being made on the church's façade.

“Cosy Church”
Reviewed 12 March 2014

A specific Romanian architecture, newly renovated old ortodox church. This year it will be celebrating 300 years from it's construction, commissioned by Constantin Brancoveanu.

“Great imposing”
Reviewed 21 November 2013

Great imposing interior. It has the hand of Saint Nicholas as a relics, there are buried Great Constantin and his sons, the place is making your thoughts stay still just for a moment and you will forget all your problems.
