Best acoustic in Eastern Europe! Good enough English speaking guide, country history fresque on top. But quite chaotic visiting program, if there are repetitions you're asked to come back later. I wish to book a concert there!!!

I, together with two companions, all of us from Israel, had the ultimate pleasure of enjoying a concert of Beethoven music for piano, violin and cello given by The Trio this past Saturday night in the most beautiful setting - the Romanian Athenaeum. The acoustics were wonderful and the musicians first-rate, and for the price of Leu 35.00, we had the best tickets in the house!

When visiting Bucharest and wanting to hear a classical music concert, this is a MUST.

Beautiful both outside and inside. Even if you don't attend a concert, try to visit the interior. Beautiful. There is a circular fresco with images of iconic people and events in Romanian history- get an explanation.

This concerthall is a very attractively styled and modernized auditorium where some excellent artists play. Acoustically needing amplifier support, but overall experience is excellent.

I don't know if tourists can visit the Atheneum - I have entered inside since I bought myself tickets for a show. The acoustic is incredible and the building is really impressive, both on the inside and outside. The park upfront is full of pigeons and I could see lots of brides coming to make photos there on their wedding day.
