Great view of the big building. Great place for kids, dogs, basketball, football, whatever. Good park!

Izvor (Spring) Park has an area of 17 hectares and is close to Izvor Subway (Metrou) and to Parliament Palace (People's House).

Before 1984 here was Michael Voivode (Mihai Voda) Hill and Monastery Michael (from 1594). When Ceausescu decided to build People's House and new Civic Center, the Monastery was translated to the east on a distance of 289 m, you can find it on Sapientei Street No. 4, hidden by some buildings.
