Private Classic Bucharest Day Trip
Reviewed 16 October 2013

I've been there several times and quite like the place.

Old style of rich decorations, large room and some balconies where you can have a more private lunch/ dinner.

They have several ballrooms, where they organize various events, like weddings, etc., all nicely decorated, although, here and there, a bit of renewal would improve a lot.

The place is located in a very central area of Bucharest and offers an interesting location for a lunch or evening dinner for both locals and expats.

The cuisine is mainly traditional, though nothing special. Waiters, are not like the ones in a fancy restaurants, but they are doing the job quite well and prices are quite OK, especially comparing to many other places around.

All in all, is an enjoyable place and sure enough, for someone willing to visit Bucharest, this should be on the "must see" list.

cercul militar is an imposing building, it looks really nice from outside, it is beautiful inside also, it is often used for events. it has a really nice terrase outside, but unfortunately the waiters are not that nice because everytime we got there, the place was about to close, even if they first said that they would close at 10. 30 pm. we arrived at 10 pm and one of the waiters said that is is closed. too bad!

This is a very beautiful military style building. I also checked the interior it was also nice.
Actually we were invited there for dinner so I will try to tell you about the restaurant in a few words.
We had our dinner on the terrace which is pretty large. The food was average and priced very reasonably. There was live music. And the service was also good. That's all I can tell.

Funnily enough this is not really a tourist attraction except that the building resembels the opera in Paris. There is a large restaurnt with a pleasant garden terrace. Commi era pricing and service but ok for the kid on a budget. I was not impressed but the coffee was hot and wet. For the money cann't complain.
