“A great place in each season”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 22 July 2014 via mobile

This park has a lot to offer in each season. In spring it is green, full of flowers, chirping birds and people and children playing or running. In the summer you can come here to relax, read a book at the shadow of a huge tree, hire a boat or go to a concert at the Roman Arenas. There are three restaurants and some small shops that sell ice cream, lemonade, chips and other snacks. In the autumn the leaves offer a great show and the park gets a little more quiet, perfect for young or old lovers. In the winter you can always make a snowman and admire the frozen lake. There is a museum in the park, recommended for people interested in technology.
This park was created to make you feel relaxed and it is a great place to go to after a hard day at work.

“Quaint and tranquil”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 July 2014

You can sit under the shade of the trees, bask in the sun on the bridge or near the Mausoleum, go for a boat ride on the lake, or go for a run around the park. It's just a pleasant atmosphere. Not too large, so you can walk around and see the whole thing with having to do a marathon.

“Just an ordinay”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 June 2014

Just a park with small monument in the name of King. I went there for 3,4 times as light festival in Bucharest is organized there each year. Apart of it just casual, nothing special!

“Worth it on a nice day”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 May 2014

You can have a nice picnic here near the pond toward the back if you wish. The monument itself is interesting but you probably won't be spending as much time there as just enjoying a walk in the park on a nice day. It's pretty peaceful if it's not too crowded (was not too crowded when I was there) and you find a good spot to sit on the bridge, one of the many benches or near the pond to relax.

“not too big nice park”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 18 April 2014

I liked this park as most of the other parks in Bucharest.
This is not the biggest park of Bucharest but it had it's own soul like most of the other parks have. Bucharest has a lot of parks for a city that is not that big.
