“Very Good Experience! Recommended most definately!”

First i would like to say this is the first time i write a review for a hotel. I was searching for a relatively good hotel to stay with reasonable prices. I value Tripadvisor highly cuz its given tons of information, reviews from other users and other helpful tips. While i could book the room from one of different booking agencies they requires to give credit card. I was suspicious of that cuz i heard someone was ripped off and thus i contacted the hotel directly. One of the best deals i ve seen was that after the cost was calculated for the number of night i ll be staying at the hotel there was a choice to propose alternate price than the one been offered and the chance that my proposal be accepted. No credit card required for booking a room. I sent my offer and within minutes i received a reply with email that my booking was succesful and that my counter offer for pricing was accepted. Not only that but i also received an offer for discount at breakfast and hotel-airport transportation. Upon my arrival the service of the hotel employees was impeccable! Friendly with desire to help as much as they can.

Impressions of the room and location.
The locality if the hotel is central. Not ultra central but within walking distance (~2-5 mins) from bus station or metro. Also someone can choose walking cuz as the location is central city central is very close.
While booking a room a client can choose the room he likes to stay regardless of type of the room. Rooms are very clean and quiet.

The hotel is being described as a 4 star hotel however i wouldnt describe it as such. Is a hotel above 3 stars but slightly below 4 stars. There are small details that could put in some difference. Not that these details are essential but they give that something extra! ( for example - a minibar price list, a box of matches, an extra pillow, an extra soap or bigger selection of channels at tv, a bathtub instead of a shower) As i said these details do not reduce the quality of the hotel but they could add something extra!

Amenities of the rooms include:
Air condition, free wifi, hair dryer, safe box, mini bar.

As for an epilogue id like to say that hotel Siqua is one of best hotels i ve stayed and i would definately come back. I recommend it with eyes closed to anyone who wishes a clean, friendly and quiet hotel without being far from the city center or overpriced rooms! Thumbs up! Keep it ip!

The hotel was fine, rooms clean and big enough, equipped with shower, climatisation unit, TV and minibar, WiFi available at the room. Breakfast was OK, valued for 7 EUR, however in two from three breakfasts I found just empty eggs dish (at 8AM). Receptionist helps you with taxi pricing, to be not robed by drivers too much. I paid from airport 120RONs and back, being advised 29 RONs.
The hotel is distant about 10 minutes walk to metro station and about 15 minutes from Parliament building.
Be aware of mosquitoes - not too many, but one active mosquito is enough for one night - dont open window, just clima

Room Tip: My room was 205, WiFi signal was quite weak (too weak for smartphone)

When I got there, there was no record of my reservation, but luckily I was able to get a room anyway. I was told that breakfast was going to be included in the room charges-but both mornings I was there I was approached about adding the cost of the meal to my room charges...and the breakfast selection was not worth the cost. Could not get the air condition to work in my room, but was able to open a window to make the room more comfortable. I don't believe I would stay there again.

We found the staff very polite, helpfuland friendly. Our room was very clean as was all the linen and towels. We liked the use of the fridge in our room. Food in the restaurant was of a good quality and served by all the staff very politely.

It would have improved our stay if there was a wider selection of fruit for breakfast. Also not sure if this is provided in Romania, but a small electric kettle would have permitted us to make a hot drink when we were late back in the evening.

We stayed one night and I was pleased with the services offered in this hot summer! For an excellent price I enjoyed a very spacious room, very clean, with air conditioning and minibar. Breakfast was rich and tasty and with excellent coffee! I recommend this hotel also for its good location, close to university faculties of Bucharest (Law, Biology) and close to major boulevard and downtown.

Good value for the price. Nice restaurant, good food at a reasonable price!
Very close to the University and the Romanian Opera House.
They also provide transportation from/to the airport with large comfortable limos, which is a huge advantage for Bucharest.

Located in a decent neighborhood withhin walking distance of the North Station. Rooms are very clean and the hotel facilities are first rate. A good choice for a first visit to this former eastern block city.
