“Felt like going back in time”

The furnishing was old. The bathroom didn't seem clean, lucky for me I had a sanitizing spray that i used everywhere i touched the bathroom. The bed was small and not comfortable. Breakfast wasn't good. There was variety but everything wasn't good quality. Boiled eggs were cold as if they were kept in the fridge from the day before. I can go on and describe everything from the breakfast, just breakfast wasn't good at all!
Everywhere in the hotel smelled like old and not cleaned. Your decision.
Tip for all travelers(not related to the hotel) :When going in Belgrade you have to have Dinar with you as Euro is not accepted at all anywhere.

I stayed with 2 other friends at this hotel . i less than impressed with having been told , upon our arrival at reception- that we had to wait 20 mins to check in . Not good enough!! We had been travelling since 5am that morning , only to be delayed by rude and careless reception staff. They were generally slow, inefficient and didnt show any care or interest if our rooms were to our satisfaction. I would say that rooms were spacious and quiet to sleep in (for me anyway). i was pleased for the cleanliness of the room despite various bad remarks i had seen. however, there was no air conditioning or heater. the TV did not work, neither did the telephone. moreover, there was no plug in the bath for me to take a bath . the showe nozzle was not working properly and the water came out slowly. the bath was very worn and old. i also noticed an old hair in my bath basin upon my arrival and it was not cleared away in my time staying there!! just shows that the cleaners were not cleaning!!!
yes, i enjoyed the breakfast very much. it was varied and plentiful with fresh amounts of food and drinks supplied . however, it would not apply to non- pork eaters in the main!!
It was a good location , and it felt safe at night which is vital in an ex-communist country etc. i did find the overall price for the hotel was about on target for a 2 star hotel . i would stay here again if i returned since i was pleased with the general , easy going nature and price , food , space that i was afforded there.

i stayed at this hotel last week for 3 nights. The hotel is very basic, the room was clean but the TV was not working and the elettrical sockets were coming off from the wall, The window in the room could not be closed properly and i can see how this can a be a problem during the cold serbian winter. On the positive side the breakfast was very good and the hotel is located 20 minutes walk from the Republic square and the magnificent Sava Temple is just behind the hotel. I would recomend this hotel only if you are on a strict budget, i am not sure if i would stay at this hotel again.

Do not even dare to stay in this place! There are hostels that I have been much more clean and nice. it is not worth to pay the price for even a single night there! Only location is good, 20min walking from the Castle and the main street. Bohemian quarter is near, too.

I was forced to stay here by JAT Airways after a flight was cancelled. While the location is great and the staff were very kind to 50 angry people who had a flight cancelled, the rooms were pretty bad. The issue of it being 36degrees and having no air conditioning made it worse. The beds were tiny, hard and the sheets felt like sandpaper. This hotel could remedy some of this by having a/c or fans and the rest of it wouldn't seem so bad.

The hotel hasn't been renovated for a while but the rooms are still OK if you are looking for a place to stay for a night or two. Very cheap (buffet breakfast included) and centrally located in Belgrade makes it a good value for money. In addition to that, if you are arriving by plane, use JAT bus transfer which will drop you just in front of the hotel. Same for travel to airport.

Hotel is in good location because it is in the center of Belegrade. Rooms are old fashioned, some of electricity were really terrible, lifts were so noisy and I was afraid when I was inside. Bathroom and toilet were in not very good condition. But when you want sleep there just for one night it´s good choice. Receptionists were really nice, polite and helpful. Stayed one night.
