This is a very comfortable place in Belgrade. The staffs there are always friendly and helpful. From my point of view here you will find the best food. The price is quite good for any kind of trip you want to make (business or pleasure). I will be there again in September this year.

Room Tip: Room 3 is very spacious and room 1 is inside the yard and is very quite.

Small 5 bedroom hotel in the centre of Belgrade. Rooms are quit small but newly renovated. The Staff are very friendly and can/will help you organise tours and pickup/drop off at the Airport. Downstairs you have a very good Restaurant, serving local food. Everything is within walking distance, with the main shoppingstreet only 2 minutes away. Behind the hotel you will find a street full restaurant, bars and cafes. But the hotel is located in quite area.

Hotel Mikan is actually located above the Mikan restaurant which specialises in authentic Serbian food.
We were first told about the restaurant by another hotel we were staying at nearby. Unfortunately they were unable to accommodate us beyond the one night we booked. On eating at the Mikan restaurant however, we discovered they also had rooms available at what we though were very reasonable rates.

Stayed there for 4 nights in the end and found the room comfortable, quiet, and well appointed. (With good shower importantly!) We ate at the restaurant every night and were served wonderful food at very reasonable prices. They looked after us exceptionally well and gave us a discount on our meals as we were staying in the hotel.
it's family owned and run and the waiting staff are very efficient and professional.

So very friendly and helpful staff and I should mention that the premises are situated just a minute or two walk from the main pedestrian mall at the centre of the city.

Room Tip: Check out the shower....does it have plenty of hot water?

We had a very pleasant stay at this cute little find on top of the Konak Mikan restaurant. The best thing is the location! It´s tucked away 30 seconds from the main avenue and a 1 minute from the main square.

The restaurant downstairs serving typical Serbian cuisine was also very good -- and always packed with locals -- so you know it must be! There is a special menu for guests that you can ask for and get a fixed menu for about 4€ which is quite the bargain. Also the staff (who work in reception as well as the restaurant) were very friendly and always made us feel welcome.

If we ever go back to Belgrade we would definitely stay here again -- just in a bigger room!

Room Tip: Room 2 was tiny! The other rooms looked large and spacious, so definitely book those!

the first time that we visited the restaurant (we visited it three times in ten days) was everything perfect. the waiter (tall guy), the atmosphere, the dishes (muskalica and karadzordzeva), the drinks (slivovica) just everything.
so we decided with my wife to go again.
the second time we ordered another dish (something with the name mikan style), salads and of course slivovica like the first time. again everything was ok until the bill came. i forgot to mention that this time was the other waiter (the shorter guy).
he charged us not the normal slivovica but the special slivovica (12 years old - double price) without to inform us and of course we didnt order it.
it was my mistake, that i realiced it when whe hade gone. but we thaught that it was a mistake and it is human.
one day before leaving belgrade we went there again to eat the first menu (muskalica and karadzordzeva). the waiter was again the shorter guy.
this time everything went wrong, i explain:1) we waited for about 45 min. for our meal, 2) the meals where diferent in the taste and specially muskalica looked not the same. 3) again they charged us the expensive slivovica (here is the time to mention that i ordered the normal slivovica).
of course we were disappointed very much, i asked from the waiter to change the bill, wich he did, and i talked with the daughter of the owner about these amateurism in everything. i would never again visit this place.

A very clean place, with friendly staff and helpful. The food is great and as a guest the prices are very good. I like it a lot and I wont stay in another place when I will go back to Belgrade. I stayed in Room 3 and it was a spacious one with a nice view to the street and not noisy at all.

Room Tip: Room 3 is very spacious and with a good view to the street.
