I did not stay here but the staff went out of their way to assist me in finding somewhere that I could stay. Have remembered their kindness and assistance, this goes a along way. I believe this is a good indicator of a good hotel.

I have stayed many times at this hotel and it is always a pleasant experience. The last time September 24, 2013 I had the pleasure of staying in a very nice suite, large, bright, well furnished and spotlessly clean which is very important. The restaurant is also quite good, but the thing I liked most is the friendliness and patience of all the staff, even those like me who speaks very little English. The property is easily accessible from the airport and not too far from the center either, in fact the whole experience very positive.

Room Tip: The rooms in the rear of the hotel which have views over a park

Good Best Western standard, in a quiet location over looking the park. Rooms are nice with clean bathroom. Full minibar and places to work (plug things in). Sleep was not the best but I do not sleep well in hotels so this may be different for others. For the price it is very good. Unlike a lot of the 'Garni' hotels in Belgrade this has a proper restaurant serving all day. The dinner was pretty good to be fair and the staff very helpful. The breakfast is HUGE - no way you will be stuck for choice! There is also a full bar if you fancy a beer and helpfully a cashpoint in the reception area. I will stay here again
One thing to note, there is no lift so be prepared to lug your stuff up and down stairs.

We stayed here one night as part of a tour of the Balkans

A nicely appointed hotel on the outskirts of Belgrade close to the Red Star stadium.

We had a suite on the 3rd floor which was odd - very dark and only looked out on dense woodland. The bedroom was large and empty whereas the lounge was crowded with furniture.

The bathroom was AWFUL - way too tiny and one had to straddle the toilet to close the door. Ridiculous in a suite to have such a tiny bathroom. The shower was excellent, the bowl area was good and the towels were plentiful and fluffy.

The bed was comfortable with extra bedding in the wardrobe.

We ate a beautiful meal at night - we both had beef steak but just a warning that rumpsteak and sirloin steak is actually PORK on their menu and not beef ! There are 10 ways to have veal though !

Breakfast was disappointing - the coffee was cold and so were the sausages & eggs.

As far as Belgrade goes this is a taxi ride from the centre but is probably a good place to stay. There's still a long way to go before Serbia/Belgrade is up to western European standards but it is getting there in this hotel.

Clean and comfortable but around 5km from the city centre.

It's well worth a walk up to the local market to compare the relative luxury of the hotel to the life of many people in the area.

In the city itself you can still see signs of the fighting and shelling.

The hotel is not centrally located. However, cab fares to the city center are reasonable so for about $7.00 U.S. you can easily reach the city center (at least using the Pink Cab Company). The hotel had a restaurant with friendly staff that I enjoyed. There is a large grocery store about 3 blocks away and my hotel room had a small refrigerator. This all helped make the location of the hotel be not such a big issue.
The hotel is not luxurious but it met all of my basic needs. I, unfortunately, did not get a newly renovated room but although it was very dated (circa 1970s) it was an adequate size, had an adequate closet, a reasonably sized bathtub and plenty of hot water. It had adequate desk space for the business traveler and free Wi-Fi which was very easy to use and fast.
If I were a tourist I would chose a more centrally located hotel but for a business trip it was fine.

Room Tip: Ask for a newly renovated room. I did not have one and looking at the picture on Trip Advisor you c...

Hotel M is about 5 km away from the city centre, located in a peaceful area of town. There is a nice park next to the hotel where you can walk or run safely. The hotel is clean, rooms are spacious and wireless connection works all over the hotel. Breakfast is very good and the service in general excellent. Taxi drive to downtown costs between 3500-4000 RSD (about 3-4 euros).
