We stayed in Hotel Moskva for three day in august 2014. We stayed in room 219 which is one of the junior suites with two floors. Lovely room in an old fashion style. The breakfast was good. The hotel has a very popular cafe (Cafe Moskva) and a nice spa that is included in the room price. The staff in the reception threats you in a very friendly way. I have one negative thing to say about the spa. The day we checked out our train left late in the evening and we asked for a shower in the spa. The reception said it was ok and we showered and relaxed in the whirlpool for three minutes before one of the spa personel told us to get up and only shower. We found it strange!
Over all a very nice hotel experience.

Room Tip: Take one of the suites its wourth the small extra cost

Stayed fri 8-mon 11th aug. Fabulous hotel, room, building in very centre so perfect for exploring old town and shops. Spa massage and facial superb and low prices. Would def stay again but the bar area service is extortionately slow; took 20 mins to bring the drink and another 15 for bill when they weren't even busy so bar waiters let the whole thing down sadly!

We checked in at Hotel Moskva for 2 days. The Hotel is located on the Terazije Square which is at the centre of almost every major attraction in Belgrade.

We used booking.com to book our rooms and checked in dressed casually. We were instantly treated with respect and courtesy, and quickly shown to our rooms. The hotel itself is grand and opulent, There are chandeliers, marble decorations, and upholstered waiting rooms. The hallways are adorned with photographs of famous guests and modern light sensors follow you through the hallway.

The room was clean and quite high class, with a flatscreen television and a marble bathroom. The bed was large and comfortable. If there was one drawback to the room it was that the wireless connection was very poor, and didn't reach parts of the room, including the bed.

Breakfast was a buffet, with local and continental choices. The food quality was very good and the selection was vast. After breakfast we visited the spa and wellness centre, included in the room price, which was very relaxing. It had a jacuzzi, a steam room, sauna, and hot stone lounge chairs. Private and secluded, this was a great way to de-stress.

In terms of the city, it's essentially in the middle of everything. A minute away is the main pedestrian boulevard, which connects to Kalemegdan Fortress/Park, In the other direction is the City Hall and the national Parliament buildings, as well as St. Marks Church/Tasmajdan Park. 5 minutes by Tram/Bus is all that is required to visit the Saint Sava Temple.

Overall we would recommend the Hotel for everyone. Belgrade is beautiful and staying at Hotel Moskva will make your trip unforgettable.

Room Tip: Ask for a room with good wireless because the third floor had a weak signal. A room facing the squar...

This once grand, and still historic, hotel sits in a wonderful location for sightseeing in Belgrade. Most of the top tourist highlights are within a short walk and the terrace is a prime people watching venue in the warm weather. The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable, but the decor is a bit drab, and the two lifts work independently of each other so you always have to press two buttons to see which will arrive first. The basement spa however is beautifully designed and executed and, at least during my visit, very little used so I often had it to myself.

Dear "LondonPetunia",
thank you so much for such a nice review!
We are very glad to hear that you enjoyed both : Hotel Moskva and Belgrade - from our hotel as the starting point. It is indeed perfect place to begin exploring Belgrade.
Hotel Moskva's decor is very valuable and mostly antique, but we understand if someone preferred different style.
We are sorry if you lost few minutes more waiting for our lift! And we hope that you compensated that inconvenience by relaxing at our terrace or our Spa&Wellness center.
Thank you again for your kind words.
We are looking forward to host you on your next trip to Belgrade!
Best regards,

Hotel Moskva has an impressive city centre location, and a stylish art nouveau building with superb public rooms. Many world leaders and celebrities have stayed ( and their photos are outside the rooms they occupied) and the hotel has featured significantly in Serbia's history.
We stayed two nights, and our room, the service and food were all to our satisfaction.
It is also extremely good value for a fine hotel in a european capital city.
