I looked for it and I found what I was expecting: a small but nice mosque, very interesting since it's the only one left in Belgrade. I saw it at night and... it was nearly invisible, it's very bad illuminated. It's a pity.

Built in 1575, this is th eonly Mosque in Belgrade.
In Turkish Bajrakli means "with flag". It is located in city quarter called Dorćol, near Kalemegdan park and fortress. Mosque was damaged in 2004 during the protests but is was later repaired. During the Muslim holidays, on the street you can taste beutiful sweets and food.

It is a good place to pray for muslim travellers. I had chance to visit and pray during my visit to old city. Not so far away from kalemegdan but good to check over map before you go.

The only mosque in Belgrade. Vandals tried to burn it. It's a pity that muslim community didn't reconstruct this mosque.

The only remaining mosque in Belgrade, located in centre, definitely shouldn't be missed.
