“Simple Pleasures”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 29 April 2014

Stayed at the hotel as it offered affordable and comfortable accommodation. Staff excellent, breakfast great with cooked breakfasts made fresh to order. Rooms are simple but comfortable and yes a little tired in places but nothing of huge concern. Noisy at night but that's what you get for staying in the center of the Bohemian quarter. Would recommend for all except families with young children. Would return

This hotel is in a great location in the bohemian quarter. It is a good clean family run hotel with friendly staff. The only reason I haven't awarded 5 stars is that the shower bracket was broken on the wall and the extractor was quite noisy at times. Breakfast was good and well presented.

I stayed in this hotel during my last business visit to Belgrade. I must say that I was very satisfied with the staff which was very warm and helpful with all my needs.
The rooms are quite satisfying and I was happy to hear that the hotel will be experiencing complete renovation in the following months. Currently, value you get for the money you pay is more than good.
The location of the hotel is amazing. It is located in the middle of Skadarlija area, which is no1 tourist area in Belgrade.
Next to the hotel there is a restaurant called Mali Vrabac, which also belongs to the same owner. The restaurant serves traditional Serbian food and, from my experience, the food was great as well as the complete atmosphere I experienced there.
All in all, I will definitely stay in Petit Piaf next time when I visit Belgrade

The staff were nice and location great but the accommodation left much to be desired.
We spent the first night in a duplex room where we found the sofa, armchair and carpet were very dirty, bathroom facilities very old and worn - moldy silicone around the bath, the toilet seat broken and edges worn. As this room is on the top floor the wi-fi was virtually non-existent. Due to a problem with heating (which we reported on the first night but nothing was done about it), we were moved to another room the following day. The second room was smaller and cleaner but the armchairs were still dirty and the toilet seat broken again.
Despite the attentiveness of the staff, and great location, we will not be returning as there is much better Belgrade has to offer. In fact, Vila Skadarlija, just around the corner (2 min walk away in Zetska ulica) is a much better place to stay. We stayed there in September 2013 and would definitely go again!

rooms are clean and quite comfortable. we have stayed at the second floor, dublex room. staff is really friendly
breakfast menu is good and served very well. the location is in the center of the bohemian quarter and in walking distance to almost every touristic attraction
the bohemian quarter is full of traditinal restaurants with serbian live music. totally a very nice location and in the summer it may be even more joyful around. the prices are not the cheapest but the average compared to other hotels around. but worth it. we had a very nice three nights stay. strongly recommend.

It's the artists and tourists' quarter, so you'll spend your evenings in this cobbled street listening to the restaurant-serenading folk musicians with other visitors rather than mixing with Belgraders but it is a hospitable base in this atmospheric and friendly city. We slept well on each of the four nights we were there. Our room was down the side of the building, so we were not disturbed by street noise if there was any. Reception staff were cheerful and spoke good English. The hotel restaurant was good, both for a lively dinner and for a hearty breakfast; with skillfully-prepared food and painstaking service. There were a couple of signs that the hotel needs upgrading or better maintenance; new plastering was required around a couple of light switches and some work, maybe, on the plumbing. There was one day when we were without any water for a few hours although it was unclear whether this was a problem at the hotel or in the whole street. But the location and comfort of the hotel easily outweighed those glitches and I would be happy to return.
