“Certainly not to miss while in Belgrade”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 June 2012

The tower has been recently refurbished. The exhibition on display is state of the art. It is in English, Greek and Serbian.

“fearless tower”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 17 May 2012

Recently renovated represents an interesting attraction, however I would prefer if there are more explanations posted on the ground floor (since at one point in history it was used as a prison, pictures of famous prisoners are displayed on screens, point which I would not know without the tour). Be sure to pay special attention to windows since they have been incorporated in the display.
Would not agree that it is far from city transportation, if one does not desire to take a nice walk by the river (which I would highly recommend either from Banko’s bridge or from 25 May sports center) he can take a tram number 10 or 5 to the end station (across Beko building) take a short stroll through lower part of Kalemegdan’s fortress (which by the way I would highly recommend since lower park is far less crowded and gives you a perspective how difficult it would be to conquer fortress if approaching from the river), and cross the river at the traffic light.

Nothing in the middle of nowhere. No public transport to the sight.

“Good piece of history to be seen”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 8 April 2012

Finally, a restored piece of history in Kalemegdan where you can see an added value to reconstruction - art events in tower deepen the basic experience provided by the tower stories through the history of Belgrade. Worth seeing.

“Cool tower”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 2 March 2012

Recently renovated, this tower could become cool place to hang out, see some art or just a part of larger future development. Right now it is secluded spot on the banks of the river, and you would rarely go there if you are not runner or hiker.
