This resort is part of the Hostal Real hotel group (which owns 3 properties, 2 others in Managua). We stayed at this resort for 5 days whilst in Masachapa with an NGO. The location is nice - on the outskirts of Masachapa townsite, very quiet and fronting right onto the beach. The property is spacious and consists of bungalows and several larger buildings containing multiple units. A large palapa overlooks the pool and we had our meals and spent time hanging out there. Our cabin was basic containing a double bed and a set of bunk beds, with an ensuite bathroom. It had a beautiful view towards the ocean, but we couldn't see out because the windows were so dirty. Overall the resort could do with a little maintenance to bring it up to North American standards and the staff were not overly friendly, but it was still a pleasant stay.
