The hotel is beautiful and comfortable. Service was very good. It's location is central and accessible to transportation. Staff was helpful and courteous. My only criticism is that wifi connections didn't work, but the staff tried to resolve the problem.

Room Tip: Shared a room with colleague, 2 full beds. Was comfortable and well priced.

This hotel is convenient to shopping, public transportation. The food is good. Rooms
are clean and comfortable. There is internet service and did not have to have electrical
plug adapters. We were a fairly large group and the hotel staff went out of their way to
accommodate everyone.

Very happy with this hotel, stayed with a group in early March 2013. Linens were clean, plumbing worked well, and staff goes overboard to satisfy. It's about a 35-minute ride from MGA.

Water was warm but not hot, but who cares in this heat? Only thing better is if they had a pool...

The ladies in the bar/restaurant appreciate a little courtesy, a little Spanish, and even better, a little tip. Be careful not to overdo by our standards. Same with housekeeping.

Nearby you have La Union premium grocery store if you forgot anything for your trip, bring your own grocery bags to secure your items, or use a backpack. Otherwise you have the crappy plastics to deal with.

For side trips to Masaya or Granada in a bus the big bus depot is nearby, within walking distance. Don't take the first person who shouts out your destination - make SURE you're getting on the right bus that goes to where you'd like to go. My strategy is to ask three times and if I get the same answer twice I have some confidence. If not I go for three out of five. If not I keep on going. I don't like to get lost!

Room Tip: Stay away from tables and chairs in courtyard if you don't want to attract late-night talkers...

I was very pleased with my recent stay here. There was a group of us, many of whom did not know Spanish. The rooms were clean, all the a/c worked... The only issue was that some rooms did not have hot water. I will say it was so hot that I did not mind, but there were some that did! The is a computer in the lobby , and free wifi with a decent signal in the rooms. We ate a number of meals at the hotel which were very good as well. Lots of fish and great vegetables! Lots of rice too! A number of us were even able to make a few calls back to the states from the front desk for very reasonable price. Overall, very happy... Feels very safe there even though you are close to the city center.

It is hard to find reasonably priced decent accomodation in Managua and this place manages it. It is not too expensive (around $50 a night when I was there) and it has large rooms around a nice courtyard, with a good restuarant out front. It's in a quiet residential area, which makes it a relaxing place, but it is close enough to the centre to make it convenient. My only complaint was that whilst the sheets were clean, they were a bit worn looking.

I stayed here last year and was looking forward to returning this year- unfortunately there was a mix up with reservations and they placed me at Las cabanitas (around the corner). They were very apologetic and made sure that I had accommodations elsewhere. This hotel is very quaint- has rocking chairs throughout the property. Most of the rooms sleep 3-5 people so it is hard to get a single room here. The rooms are clean and have TV’s, air conditioners and also free wifi available. There is a computer in the lounge area for public use (which is usually busy). I did notice a lot of student groups this year- they were very loud at night and some of the people in my group commented that it was hard to sleep. The front staff here does speak some English and is able to help with various tasks. We ate various meals here. The homemade juices are incredible! And fresh fruit was divine? Certain meals were better than others.I could have lived without the spaghetti dinners. We noticed on days when they were servicing a lot of guests that the quality of the meals also lagged. Overall this was a great place to stay – very safe (guard out all night in the front) and very friendly staff. We will stay here again.

Room Tip: The rooms that are farthest away from the dining area are the quietest
