El Tinto is without a doubt the best Argentinian style steak you will eat in Managua. It is located somewhat away from the city, but it is worth the drive.
The menu is small, just one page but very well designed. The starters are great, they have a delicious beef carpaccio and the Argentinian ¨Empanadas¨ are superb. It also has a Provoleta cheese starter that its great.
The steaks are simple but made Argentinian style by the owner, who happens to be from Argentina. The Vacio is by far the best in town, the Entraña is great as well but I have not seen the same quality consistency as in the Vacio.
The wine list is also short, but it has good wines at decent prices. Its got a small but well designed Argentinian wine selection that goes very well with the steaks.
Pricewise compared the other 2 best steakhouses in Managua it is cheaper than both of the 2 competitors, and for my taste better. It is not the cheapest steak house in Managua, but I think its the place where you get the most for your money.
Its never packed so the service is always A+ the owner is always there (very important for a restaurant) and you can have him recommend a steak to your liking. It does not have AC so I recommend going at night.
The setting is very relaxing, it is outside on the yard with Beautiful bluegrass making it perfect for a first date. The music ranges from Argentinian tangos, to Gypsi Kings, to Julio Iglesias which blend perfectly with the food and atmosphere.
It is my favorite place in Managua by far.
