We stayed here one night at both ends of our vacation because we arrived late evening and left early morning. It was really intended to be just an in-transit stop but we really enjoyed our time here.
We had a car but didn't fancy driving into the city so the reception got a taxi driver to take us around for $10 per hour. We were able to stroll around the main square by the library and Presidential building, the lake front and the cathedral. Well worth doing.
