I've eaten here on three separate occasions, on two different trips to Panama City. The more-or-less negative review here demonstrates that even a wonderful restaurant like Casuale can have a bad day. My experiences have been overwhelmingly positive. The atmosphere is smart and stylish, and the service, in my experience, warm and attentive. The food is good, but not entirely consistent. The squid rissotto and the tres leches are absolutely exquisite – memorable even – while the grouper and the langostinos are perfectly good, but uninspired. Go, by all means, particularly because it offers a stylish and tasty respite from visiting the Casco Antiguo, but ask what's good, and don't be determined to eat any one particular item.
