We stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights in a king suite. The room itself looks nice, jacuzzi is great and shower is even better! Size of the room is perfect as well and bed is fine.

However, the room had a very damp and musty smell. Windows cannot be opened so no fresh air can get in the room and the ventilation system is simply not enough to remove the smell. And, we had a strange stain on the duvet of our bed when we arrived.

Breakfast was good, design of the room & hotel as well. Location is not the best, but not terrible either. It some 15 minutes walk to calle Uruguay, where quite some restaurants are. 10 minutes walk more or less to the ocean, where you can find the big hotels like Meridien & Intercontinental.

For us the dampness of the room was so annoying that we stayed at another hotel (hilton garden inn) for our last night in Panama, after returning from our trips.

We stayed for three days during our first visit to Panama City. The room was well decorated and reasonably large. The bed was comfortable with good reading lights. Breakfast was good although we didn't know that cooked items were available until the second morning, as no one appeared to welcome us or explain the menu. On the second morning a desk clerk walked in half way through breakfast and offered eggs. And we don't recommend the little restaurant for dinner after the first try, but we like to go out, and there are plenty of great restaurants within a 6 block walk. Only a five minute walk to the beautiful seaside strip of high rises.

We would certainly stay again, even with the weaknesses in the dinning room.

Let me premise this by saying that usually when I travel, it's for work, so I'm familiar with many of the normal corporate hotel lines. My husband and I splurged on this hotel for our honeymoon, and it was totally worth it. The room had a king bed, huge closer area, hot tub, and sitting area. The best was the giant rainwater shower head. We were given a glass of wine upon arrival, and Jordy and his staff provided top notch customer service.

This is a decent hotel but not in a great location. The staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very nice. Many little details seemed askew - doors that stuck, next to no light in the bathroom, a toilet that broke, an air conditioner that was loud and leaked water all over the floor. The hotel also arranged our transport from the airport for $38 which seemed to be a good rate based on what they told us in email exchanges. Upon going back to the airport for our return flight, we grabbed a cab on the street and with no negotiating were given a transport for $25.

We stayed here while passing through Panama City for 3 nights. We were highly impressed with the rooms (we stayed in 2 different rooms), they were high end, clean and modern. The beds were comfortable and the whirlpool bath was a very nice and highly utilized plus! The free breakfast downstairs was perfect and they even had champagne for mimosas!! The staff was friendly and made us feel at home. They have a nice sitting area by the reception desk that has wine and cookies too! We highly recommend staying here!!

This boutique hotel, gives you everything you need in the city. The location is great, close to everything.
The room is spacious and have jacuzzi, rain shower (was great) king size bed.. excellent...
The staff makes you feel unique and they take care of every single detail.
They also have taylor-made tours that they customize with you asking for your interests and hobbies.
Overall experience 10 out of 10.
I recommend it as the best option in Panama city.

Room Tip: They only have 12 rooms. every single one is great!!

The Panams is a highly recommended boutique hotel in the center of Panama city. It is close to the boulevard with its fantastic view to the skyscrapers. Everything you need is close by, especially a huge amount of restaurants. All staff was very helpful and super cooperative, especially because we arrived early in the morning and we could go into our room anyway! However, not all staff members are fluent in English so some Spanish can be helpful... The room itself is stylishly furnished, very spacious and has all you can wish for, even a rain shower and a jacuzzy! Everything is clean of course. The breakfast is simple but delicious: toast, cereals, egg, juice and coffee. We liked it a lot! The lobby is also comfortable and has two nice areas to spend some time with free coffee, ice tea and cookies. For us, a rooftop pool would have been the cherry on top!
