Nice hotel - quirky and boutique, but most of the comforts of a bigger, more anonymous chain hotel. Great, if fairly basic, breakfasts. Lovely to have free wine and tea/biscuits in the lobby. Staff were super friendly and helpful.

A couple of things to critique: the loo is tricky to flush (have to hold it down for 40+ seconds and still doesn't always work). The in-room jacuzzi is a bit odd - kind of screams 'sex' and seems a bit bordello. Very soft mattress. Hot water isn't super reliable - takes a while to get to the rooms. And no full length mirror - would be so easy to install one in each room.

But! I loved the little sofa/seating area in the room and there's also a desk and a spot to put your suitcase - tons of space generally, and appropriately furnished. Good that there's an in-room safe and fridge. Good to have both tons of natural light and subdued lamps. In general, a good choice and good value compared to similar options in this price range.

As the tittle states... Everything was PERFECT as a boutique hotel.. It even has smokers and non smokers rooms, not very likely these days. Cons: Asked for a room that had balcony, it ha it, but it was soooooooooo small, but when I say small, its reeeeeaaallly small, was afraid my foot disdnt fit, but it hardly could, the view was a complete MESS! Awful! But at least We could smoke there, not inside, that was kind of a relieve, else we would have had to go down. Parking lot its just putside the street, which it not a beautiful area. Pros: beautiful hotel! They give you for free 24/7 snacks, iced tea, coffee(excellent) and wine in the lobby, self serving ! Awesome idea! They have hot tub for two and an amazing shower!!!!!! Really confy beds and really relaxing and well decorated enviroment! Super nice! Overall awesome experience, we shall be back! Very kind personnel! Doesnt have swimming pool nor fitness center, due to its a boutique hotel.

Nicely decorated, clean and comfortable rooms. Nice touches like complimentary wine in the lobby. The jacuzzi was great especially after our other stay in Panama city didn't even have hot water (at a hotel that cost 3 times as much). This place is certainly a great value.

It is centrally located and there is a good little indian restaurant conviniently located just up the street but I can't speak as to whether the location is good as a base for exploring the city because we just crashed for the night in between flights.

Only negative was that the desk staff seemed a bit... disorganized. When we arrived (around 8pm) the doors were locked and no one was at the front desk. Had a panicked few minutes where I thought we were going to have to drag our bags aimlessly through the dark streets of Panama City looking for another hotel. Turned out the desk staff had stepped away to take out the trash. When we left in the morning the doors were locked again, and the (different) desk staff member had again stepped away for a minute. Seems to me that if the desk is to be left unattended a sign should be hung on the door informing guests that the staff will return momentarily to prevent guests from thinking they are locked out. We also were (very kindly) offered breakfast to go since we had to leave early in the am. However, it seems the late night staff did not inform the morning staff of this offer. I would give 5 stars if they improved communication at the desk.

The hotel is a good hotel for the price range. The location would be good in a safer city, but I felt unsafe in the area.
The InterContinental is better located. If I was prepared to spend quite a bit more then I would have chosen this location. Even though the hotel is just a few streets away from the good area, I did not feel safe enough to walk there. I used a taxi the one time I walked there in order to get back to the hotel.
The hotel public areas was clean and breakfast was adequate. The room itself however was not clean. The carpet under the coffee table was quite dirty. The shower was grimy and we had to wash it the first time we used it.
No restaurant onsite for lunch and dinner although they offered to get us some food delivered. I ordered a pizza the first night as we were too tired to go out to find a restaurant the first night we arrived due to a long flight. However, I wouldn't have chanced walking to a restaurant anyway.

The tap in the bathroom sink is located too close to the basin. This makes washing very difficult as you can hardly get your hand under the tap.

Overall, the fixtures and fittings are classy for Panama and the do serve free wine and coffee in the lobby which is a plus. However for me, I wouldn't book the hotel again unless the price was really too good to refuse.

We stayed at all the top hotels in the city when I travel for business but this time, we wanted to try something different and we got it right.

It is very small so must come here with an open mind that it doesn't have 1000 staff around but the decor, the size of the rooms and quality of the shower (it is a cascade in there) and price is very very worth to try out.

Fair breakfast and quick service for anything. Ask for ice, done. Iron my shirt, 5 minutes and it's back. For those who have been around know the value of the little things...

The location is 5 minutes from the office which is near the Multiplaza and a couple blocks from the Balboa Blvd. where one could run.

Room Tip: The rooms facing the street could have a lot of noise but they have the silence windows installed so...

Hidden gem found on booking.com that was amazing! Warm welcome with free espresso or wine and the front desk booked all restaurants and site seeing for us. Breakfast was nothing special but filled us up. Great soaking bath with beautiful modern hotel decor. Easy transport via taxi to most sites. Walking distance to walkway on the water. Would definitely stay again!

We moved in after a dreadful stay at another boutique hotel and were pleasantly surprised. The rooms are huge, the staff extremely helpful and the location is practical to go to casco vieho. In case you need advice the staff will help you through Panama City ( places to go , how much to pay cabs ...)
