I have heard great things about this hotel and its one of the oldest ones in the area. I wanted to give it a try this time and I will never go back. First of all, the advertise parking and theres no such thing, we ended up parking our car next to the hotel in the street as the parking lote was blocked by garbage bags. Once in the hotel the elevator was a mess, the lights did not work so you have no idea if the elevator is coming of not, the elevator itself is old and scary. The hallways need some work done, horrible old dated carpets and not enough light. Our room HAD NO WINDOWS! the smell of humidity was terrible, specially for my partner who is allergic. The bathroom was good, clean and it seemed like it had been recently done. The bed was comfortable, no complains there.
I had to walk up the stairs to see the pool as the elevator would not stop on floor 2 to realize the pool deck was old, like from the 80s..
Not a nice hotel. Wasn't worth the money we paid, we have stayed in hotels around the corner for only $25 and Hotel Roma Plaza was no different, maybe the bathroom was nicer but that doesn't make up the $40 extra we paid.
Stay away from this hotel, the Centroamericano just around the corner is was better.More
