A great little hotel all clean and tidy with an Ibis feel of contemporary style.
Great area with huge selection of good cheap food, local shopping, close to the coast and historical district and $10 trip to the Panama Canal.
The deal is clean, good service, limited English so polish up on a few words of Spanish and charades.
The local restaurant at the end of the street ( via Argentina) on the opposite side of the road is fabulous, try the seafood soup, or the crumbed prawns, did I mention the tart la casa ( cream bruli)

Room Tip: Panama is a going forward city , and will be wonderful in a decade, get there now and discover the...

Very nice and stilish hotel in the centre of Panama city. The hotel is quite new and very well located, next to a lot of restaurants and bars. Rooms are very clean and quite.
Excellent breakfast and very good service.

I live in Panama City, but after an unexpected flood in my apt (cheap washing machine), I ended up spending a night at the Saba. The beds are very comfortable and clean, as are the rooms. The bathrooms have a cool vibe, but not much privacy (glass doors). The eco-friendliness of the hotel is a really pleasant here in Panama, where there is no recycling anywhere. The lights are on timers, you must be in your room to use the a/c, and there are a lot of other little energy-saving initiatives.

The breakfast was good, with a huge selection (did we want omelets or pancakes or waffles or English breakfast) and good service... and fresh orange juice! From now on, when friends from the States come to visit, I am immediately sending them to the Hotel Saba.

Room Tip: rooms in the back, away from Via Argentina, are much quieter. You get a boring view of a parking lo...

The Saba is a great place to stay in Panama City. The hotel itself is clean, modern, and comfortable. Big rooms with lots of amenities. However, the best part about The Saba is the staff. They were very helpful and accommodating with everything from calling taxis to planning trips. They were happy to have our business and made sure we had a room to stay over the course of a week while we were in and out of the city. Veronica helped us plan a last minute trip while Luis always made sure we had breakfast and cabs, even on mornings when we departed very early.

If I return to Panama City, I will definitely return to The Saba.

Modern, clean, comfortable with great staff and service!
Breakfast of your choice is included. Rooms are large and elegant, complete with tub/spa, Wi-Fi, mp3 dock, big screen tv, safe and big windows that open. The bed and pillows made sleeping feel like a cloud nap. The conejo district is bohemian chic, with restaurants, bars and interesting shops, park, and close to everything. A few doors down, you can find Flemenco dancing on the weekend evenings and across the street not far is an artisanal brew pub. Safe district for walking at night. When I return to Panama City, I will stay again at the lovely Saba Hotel.

The Saba Hotel is excellent. It is new, modern, clean, and the staff is extremely helpful, going above and beyond to make sure their guests are comfortable. Veronica at the front desk organized a last minute trip to San Blas Islands the night before we left, and Luis (also at the front desk) made sure we always had taxis, reservations, and breakfast to go as we needed it. I highly recommend this hotel, and would certainly come back if I return to Panama City.

Room Tip: We stayed in a double room and it was very spacious

This hotel is very nice indeed. It is clean and new. The staff were very helpful. They had an excellent and reliable contact for taxi hire- his name was Jose and we did everything through him. He is a gentleman, reasonably priced and polite.
The breakfast was clean and reasonable. There is a big supermarket not far al restaurants in the street. There are and two small ones within easy walking distance. There is a good Subways on the corner if you need a quick meal without doing the restaurant search, taxi ride and attendant expenses. There are a number of restaurants contiguously located, but the food at the Saba is very good.
Wifi was perfect and there is cable TV in each room. Also they arrange laundry for their guests and it was very reasonably priced. This is a very good hotel and if in PC again I will head straight to the Saba
