This hotel is great for travelers. No frills. The plus is a restaurant next door, that serves breakfast and late night meals. You can pay for an Internet card - and then use the computer in the lobby or in the restaurant., otherwise you need to find an internet cafe.

This is a smallish hotel (61 rooms). The room was simply furnished and clean. The housekeeping woman was wonderful. She is friendly and a very hard worker. I can not remember her name. I made a point to tell the manager about her. The staff of the hotel were all very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is not upscale tourist but I always felt safe. (I was not out wandering late at night). There is a supermarket a few blocks away, a pharmacy right around the corner, many different restaurants and food vendors in the area. There is also a small park at the top of the street. The hotel is very quiet. I was almost completely unaware of other guests. The city noise cranks up about 4:30 am. As a result of the friendliness of the staff I really felt like I was a valued guest not just the guy in room 305. One of the review sites mentions that there is an ice machine on every floor. There is one ice machine and it is on the 4th floor. It always had ice.

This place was a great location and best value (with availability on short notice) in Panama City. Close to the resturants and bars area and the staff was very helpful as well. Very accomidation with directions and even suggested we go other places for certain meals as opposed to teh attached resturant.

Good large room with double bed, and clean. Also clean bathroom with large shower. There was a t.v. and also airconditioning. A restaurant with long hours was conveniently attached to the hotel. The neighborhood is safe for walking ,at least., during the daytime. It was not luxury, but for the $25 -per -night -deal I got on HOTEL.COM with a coupon, it was a good bargain.

We chose this hotel because of price. We were only in panama city for one night, and needed a cheep place to crash. We arrived at night, so already we in caution mode. But right off the back we noticed that the hotel did charge by the hour and there were a few young women hanging outside. They also informed us to not walk to the restaurant a block away... we were to cab it.

Now, we don't like to automatically say that a place is bad just because our experience wasn't very good. Although we didn't feel completely safe
most likely we were safer than we felt. However if you don't feel safe, you can't sleep all that well.

The rooms were farely bare, but for the most part clean. That didn't keep me from sleeping in my silk sleep sheet though.

This is a no frills hotel. If you are looking for a bed at a cheap price (Around $40) and are feeling adventurous than stay here. If you don't feel very safe, there is another hotel down the block that seemed a bit more welcoming, however at about twice the price.
