Very relaxing in the old city, great choice of wine and very close to the nightlife for an after drink...

Madrigal is located in the old town area of Panama. It is a charming restaurant with allot of charm. Two dinner menus are available. One is a tasting menu prix fix at $52 pp. The other offers a regular menu. The spanish ham and goose live pate are excellent choices for starter even though they are on the expensive side. We shared the duck breast, baby pork and lobster bisque. All were wonderful. Desert was a spanish type bread pudding with a home made chocolate sauce which was wonderful. Prices are high.

Went on a double date with my husband and our best friends, we had a wonderful dinner everything came on time, food was decadent and cooked to perfection. The angus burgers weher wonderful and all the appetizers had different tastes to discover. However, the best thing of this restaurant is their desserts, the torrijas are my favorite by far but the valley de anton bowl is my husband's favorite.

The ambience is so cozy you could stay in the restaurant sipping wine all night if they would let you, as a matte rof fact that is what we did...hehehe!

We stumbled upon this really classy looking spot in the old town area Casco Veijo of Panama City. What a charm and even though skeptical at first about the fixed price menu for lunch we decide to try it out. Rather expensive for a family lunch $32.00 pp The soup was divine and the pulled pork enchilada's were great. Home style breads with olive oil and balsamic were tasty. Very well appointed place and great wine selection. Cool A/C on a hot day topped it all off! We really enjoyed it but it was not up to "show" the tried to make it be. Service was abit slow.
