Reading the reviews it depends what you expect from a hotel. I usually stay in 4 star hotels that are booked for me when I travel on business so my expectations and comments will not be relevant to people who usually stay in apartments. It has taken me some time to get around to writing the review as I stayed here in late November 2012 but I will be honest with my comments from my point of view.
The staff were very friendly and helped with any query that I had. The room was large, the bed was comfortable, the bathroom small but adequate with clean towels and soap and shampoo provided. They have Wi Fi in the room but in the room that I was in it would only connect in 1 spot in the room.
I did not like the tiled floors as the noise seems to echo in the hotel, one night there was a family with children in the hotel and at 11PM they were in the corridor, not I stress being unruly just a normal family but the noise did seem to be louder with the tiled floors.
The kitchen seemed to be all you would need if you were staying in and cooking but as I ate out every night it was of no use to me. The refrigerator was large but noisy; I had to turn it off every night as it woke me up.
The rooftop pool was good but with only a limited number of sun lounges available. This was not a concern during my stay as in my 3 days I only saw 1 other person at the pool, I went to the pool every night between 4 to 5.30 with 2 cans of Larger purchased from a local supermarket. A good way to relax after a day at work.
I found the area to be very safe with no safety concerns and very near to a number of restaurants.
The breakfast did not start until 07.00 and as I was usually picked up from the hotel at 06.15 I only sampled 1 breakfast, all I can say it was nothing outstanding but edible.
If you are staying here you have nothing to worry about. As the saying goes you get what it says on the tin, it is all down to your level of expectation and what type of hotel you normally stay in.
