After our Tabasco tour, we headed over to the gardens. I thought it was a little pricey. We drove most of the time--a few short walks. We saw numerous alligators and other wildlife. It was beautiful....lots of pictures. Picnic tables near the entrance.

We visited these gardens while visiting the Tabasco visitor center. To reiterate, these gardens are natural and beautiful. There is a huge rookery area where a gazillion (probably an overestimate) white egrets reside. Noisy and beautiful. Lots of surprises through the gardens on the walks including the 800+-year old Buddha. Highly recommend a self-guided drive/walk tour of this area. Just try to go during cooler weather!

We was there at mid day and did not see a single alligator, animal or other wildlife. It was a waste of our money.

Jungle gardens is very beautiful. I liked how you had the option of driving or walking. We walked through the marsh and saw many alligators up close! Unfortunately, we were not able to walk through the entire garden as the horseflies were horrendous! They swarmed around my husband and I and would follow us a good bit! After so many times, I refused to get out of the car. One of the ladies told us that they come out after it rains. Other than way the garden was great! We would definitely love to come on a "dry" day and try to walk about the gardens.
