“Another fabulous experience”
Reviewed 28 July 2014

Went on our fifth yearly trip on the Woodwind right out of the Marriott in Annapolis. this time was a dinner cruise. Love the crew and meet so many great people. My husband had the opportunity to steer the ship for over a half an hour. Food and drinks were great and this was a 2 1/2 hr. cruise in the evening. Beautiful ship. Strongly recommend for anyone

“beautiful day for a sail”
Reviewed 22 July 2014

So glad we took this sail. Purchased tickets the day before, but could have waited until the day of. Beautiful sunny day. Everyone was very friendly. The crew had some passengers assist with the sails. They gve a bit of info about the workings of the ship, and of the area. Veryprofessional. Mike was very articulate and personable. They served beverages and snacks. No pressure to buy additional items. Great way to spend an afternoon.

“Fun Time”
Reviewed 21 July 2014

We had some friends in, so we decided to take the Woodwind. It was a lot of fun, altought the 2 hour sail is over all too quickly. The crew was great, very friendly and very professional. Their dock staff could use some customer service training. They were very brusk and almost hostile, espiciallyy making sure that everyone lined up the way they wanted... they must have worked for the airlines.... Once we were on the boat, thing were great! I'd certainly recommend it!

“Really a Class Act!”
Reviewed 17 July 2014

First of all, I was made to feel extremely welcome and quite safe. Jennifer, owner and captain, created a fantastic evening on the water. It was Wednesday night, which is race night on the Chesapeake. All the boats were out, the water was beautiful and the sky was striking! I highly recommend this excursion for ANYONE. It is a great way to see Annapolis, the Sailing Capitol of the World.

Last evening had a spur of the moment experience that I will always remember. I walked up to the ticket counter and they had one ticket left for the Schooner Woodwind sail boat ! It was Wed. and "race night" so our boat raced against another Schooner Woodwind and we watched all the other boat races !

The captain Ken was fabulous explaining a lot of the sailing techniques that he and his crew were doing ... and even had some "fish jokes".
