“Nice house and tour, but very little is original”
Reviewed 11 August 2013

The tour was very informative and interesting, but I was disappointed to hear that almost none of the furnishings were original. The garden is really lovely and worth a separate visit, and the plant sale was really quite charming.

“Fabulous mansion and lovely garden of a signer of the Declaration of Independence”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

The property is another reminder of how much we owe to our nation's forefathers. William Paca was a signer of the Declaration of Independence and had much to lose if we hadn't won the American Revolution. The Paca mansion is very beautifully furnished and decorated. The garden is lovely, especially the summer house in the rear, and the floral display is adequately sized and lovely.

“Classic historic Annapolis”
Reviewed 29 July 2013

We had our wedding ceremony and reception here on a beautiful June afternoon and evening. Our guests loved the venue. This is a tiny version of Mount Vernon and very representative of the Revolutionary War era. Has a small gift shop. Come also in the Spring for its annual plant sale.

“really?”
Reviewed 15 July 2013

we didn't have time to tour the whole house before leaving annapolis but wanted to walk through the gardens at least...they still charged us $5 each just for a self guided tour of the garden. it isn't very big at all and most of the bed were filled with weeds, bushes were not trimmed and basically not much going on as far as anything blooming. very disappointing and frustrating to pay $10 (total) for a not-so-great tour. i'm sure it has potential to be a nice garden but to charge people $5 it should look way better!

“Nice piece of quiet in busy Annapolis”
Reviewed 14 July 2013

After touring the house you are let loose to enjoy the garden.

You would never know you were so close to the hustle and bustle of the high street action.

A nice stop on a tour of Annapolis.
