“Great breakfast, great location, great bathroom!”
Reviewed 26 June 2011

I have stayed at a number of Bed and Breakfasts, and this one is at the top. The three-course breakfast was so delicious and a wonderful surprise (warm breakfast items are rare in my experience). The location is in the heart of walkable Annapolis. Our room, Captain's Quarters, came with the best bathroom, albeit detached. It had a full-sized, claw-foot tub. My only regret is that we didn't stay long enough for me to try out the bath salts sitting beside the front claw!

We came with another couple to enjoy the sites of Annapolis. The location couldn't be better--right between Main Street and the State House. The inn keepers are very warm--they greeted us with refreshments and fresh-baked chocolate chip cookies. A new couple just purchased the B&B and they're investing a lot into it. I look forward to see what changes they make next time!

Be prepared for fantastically artistic and gourmet food, utmost hospitality, charmed conversation laced with humor and intelligence, stunning room and an adorable resident dachsund provided entertainment.

Room Tip: The Capitol Room was very spacious and charming.

Chez Amis is a lovely B&B in easy living and friendly Annapolis! You feel right at home playing with the owners dog and helping yourself with wine or softdrinks in the kitchen. The breakfast is an experience, served around an intimate kitchen table with company of other guests. Be prepared for no ordinary breakfast, but a gourmet breakfast served with love and sophistication:)

We brought 11 girls to stay for the weekend for a low key bachelorette weekend/girls getaway and it was absolutely perfect. We had the house to ourselves; Mickie and Don were fabulous hosts, so accommodating, and so excited to have us there. We instantly felt right at home--breakfast was delicious, we used the living room to hold a small shower and for downtime, and the constant appearance of treats was an added bonus. Really an all around fabulous weekend.

You never know what you are going to get these days. Too pushy, or too cold, too nosy or too stoic. You just don't know. My wife and I went to celebrate our anniversary and we had a great time. The owners were personable and genuinely interested interested in our little story of love and life. We had a great breakfast and that was because of the many questions over the phone they asked me about my likes and dislikes for food. It was tailor made. The access to the city couldn't not have been more convenient. But when we think back to our time at Chez Amis it won't be all the wonderful amenities and proximity that speak for themselves rather the laughter and stories around the table and living room is was our takeaway. And it wasn't forced. Totally natural. Totally hospitable. Great place. Highly recommend it.

My two friends - who were celebrating their birthday - and I stayed at the Chez Amis B&B this past weekend and had a delightful time. From the time we walked in the door, the hosts, Mickie and Don, were nothing but gracious and welcoming to us.

The location is very central and easy walking distance to many of the attractions in Annapolis - shopping, restaurants and The United States Naval Academy. The B&B was very clean and home-y and had everything we needed.

Breakfast in the morning was absolutely delicious, and we enjoyed spending time with the B&B owners as well as other guests.

We highly recommend this B&B, and will come back whenever in Annapolis.
