“wow, terrific food, warm relaxing atmosphere all at a very good price”
Reviewed 20 February 2012

We've just had our third terrific evening at Annapolis Grill so it's time to share! The menu is not crazy full of exotica and trick recipes... it's got all the right choices and everything we've had has been delicious and fresh! It's our new favorite place and prices are so good that it doesn't have to be just a special occasion place. Since taking over the Morton's location the owners did it right. The seared tuna with salad is delicious and healthful. I dare say the Filet Mignon is the best I've had in years. Apparently the hickory smoked cooking process for many of their meals makes all the difference. We've had the salmon over salad twice--fabulous. People are super nice and help make it totally relaxing evening. The ambiance is perfect with mostly booths, candle light and an overall welcoming atmosphere. We park in the garage on the property and walk underground (cold out !) to the Westin... where the restaurant is.
I could go one but suffice to say that we look forward to the next visit.

“Huge disappointment”
Reviewed 14 January 2012

Annapolis Grill is a faiirly new restaurant and my husband and I and another couple looked forward to trying it out. Really, there is nothing I can say positive about i except that the coffee was alright. First, it pretends to be a top flight steakhouse, a la Morton's or Fleming's) and fails miserably. First, the menu was completely uninspired, but if you're offering basic grilled fish, meat, salad and potatoes, at least it needs to be good. Our waiter was new and so could be excused his inexperience, but truly the service left much to be desired. We ordered drinks, and were told that the wine we selected was not available. Then we ordered one of the specials, rock fish, and after some time passed, were told they were "out" of it...although we were there at 6:30 and they were only 1/3 filled at the most. Two of us ordered Caesar salads and salmon and our husbands ordered the Caesar salad entree with chicken. Our Caesar salads came, mine sopping with salad dressing, altho I had asked for it on the side. Then our ssalmon came overcooked. In the meantime the waiter had put in the wrong salad for our husbands, so we ate our meal while their salads were remade and served. By this time we were running late and were headed too a play and after hovering uselessly all night, our waiter was no where to be found. In short, very disappointing and will not return.
