We did a tour of the campus and were impressed that the public tours, visitors center, and museum were staffed by dedicated volunteers. The campus is beautiful and worth walking around, and we enjoyed getting to learn about what midshipmen experience during their time at the academy along the tour, which we wouldn't have gotten otherwise. The visitor's center doesn't have much in the way of exhibits, but it's worth going to the Naval Museum (in a separate building on a different part of campus.) You could easily spend a lot of time there learning about the Navy's history and technological advances.
