After working a long day, I chose to go out for dinner. I should have been suspicious when I saw Italian lasagna on the Greek menu. I ordered the lamb stew over orzo for $18. It wasn't stew at all. Lamb was dry and smothered in tomato paste mixture. There was no seasoning. I took a few bites added salt. I returned the food. Waiter said it's precooked in the morning and reheated when ordered. Manager made an adjustment on my bill. If I wanted leftovers I'd stay home.

Anyway, I got home about 8 pm and I cooked myself a fresh meal. If I return to this place I'll try gyro and fries. My hot water with lemon tasted like coffee. Waiter was apologetic. There is very limited parking.

Same old great food! I guess new owner has kept same quality. Friendly attentive waitstaff. Large portions, had the baked ziti and salad. Enough to take home for dinner. Always a consideration.

I've lived in Annapolis for a while and I've passed Chris's several time and just from the looks of it outside I've never tried it. My good friend said they had a great menu. We both got the gyro which was more then delicious. The pita it was in was soft and warm. I literally ate the whole thing and it was amazing. Don't let the outside of this place fool you the food is wonderful. On the way out I ordered baklava to go. It was also delicious.

My daughter saw that I was writing a review of this restaurant and she was very excited. She loved this restaurant's BLT sandwich. My husband loved the lamb and beef gyro. My other daughter loved the chicken gyro, which I shared with her, and my son enjoyed the kids' ravioli. We ordered one order of onion rings to share and we were set. Plenty of food to go around. This restaurant was very easy to eat at with our kids (ages 8-12). It was low key and comfortable. The food was priced reasonably and was a good value. One of my daughters was already asking to return before we'd even left the restaurant!
