We enjoyed our brief one-night stay. The room was fairly spacious and included a large bathroom with tub, mini-fridge, desk and closet. We used the pull-out bed for the kiddos which worked out fine. There is a partial wall separating the bedroom area from the sitting area with pull-out couch, but it is essentially open space. Our room was on the 4th floor (the top floor) and we appreciated the absence of footsteps above us!

Breakfast was plentiful with high-quality food, drinks, etc. Hot items were waffles, sausage and eggs. Option to toast your bagels & English muffins. Tasty Greek yogurt! The breakfast dining area is just off the lobby and was clean and nicely decorated. People seemed to use this space all day for working on laptops, etc.

The location is in an office park area - none of the local Annapolis charm here. But, plenty of free parking. Just down the road is a nice retail complex with a Whole Foods, Brio restaurant, stores like DSW & Nordstrom Rack, etc.

Room Tip: Stay on the 4th floor so no one is above you!

We had a very pleasant stay. The staff during check in/out were pleasant and helpful with giving suggestions and directions to area attractions. The mini store in the lobby was a great idea and had almost everything you might need from beer, wine, frozen foods, snacks and drug store needs. The room was spacious with a sitting area including a couch and table, microwave and refrigerator. The room was very clean and the king size bed comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was also delicious which included waffles, eggs, sausage and bakery goods. The hotel is located 5 minutes from downtown Annapolis and within 1 mile of a huge shopping mall with numerous restaurants.

We stayed for a couple of nights this past weekend; and met our friends of many years for relaxation, catching up and a little bit of shopping. The weather gods did not work in our favor; so it rained sideways for the stay. That said, we had a great lunch in town; and spent a nice relaxing afternoon and early evening in front of the fire place. A local restaurant brings in some light light food at no cost; and breakfast was more than acceptable.

In short; a great getaway. We had a friendly check in; with very clean and updated rooms, decent internet speed and plenty of elbow room in our suites. There is nothing not to like here. Old Annapolis is 10 minutes ride by car.

For a little bit of balance, I've also stayed and reviewed the Marriott at the waterfront. While I'll grant that their location is more central to the more enjoyable parts of Annapolis, the property extracts every possible dollar in view of the location; and that's ok, I guess. The difference in my opinion is that the staff at SpringHill is friendlier and more accommodating. Location isn't necessarily everything.

If it wasn't for the paper thin walls this would be a 5 star rating. Staff friendly, rooms were large and had all you need, clean and comfortable. Breakfast also great. In a good location for Annapolis, Mall, food and the road to Airport and Baltimore. BUT you may as well be in the same room as your neighbour, every sneeze, cough and word can be heard, and we were woken several times each night. If you sleep like the living dead i recommend this hotel though as everything else was great!

This hotel is perfect in every way. Service is excellent. All areas are clean and well maintained. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The suite is nicely furnished and contains everything a traveller might need. (hairdryer, Iron&ironing board) Beds are super comfy and you can pick how you like your pillows in advance! The small kitchenette has a fridge, coffeemaker and microwave. Microwaveable meals and snacks are available in the lobby. There is free wifi, indoor pool as well as a nice hot tub. Definitely a plus if you are travelling with kids! Fireplace in the lobby is delightful (it was quite chilly when we were there) An amazing selection for breakfast (waffles, bagels, danish, French toast, scrambled eggs, fruits, yogurt etc.) If you wish to pack some snacks for the road there are also small plastic bags for your convenience. Another plus: it's close to shopping centers and restaurants. Discount is offered with your AAA/CAA card. I wish all hotels were like this!

Stayed here during a trip returning home from Florida. Price was excellent for value received. Room was large and nicely appointed. Friendly helpful staff. Easy access. Breakfast was excellent and lots of choice offered in comparison to other hotels in which we have stayed.
