Focus on the fact that the rooms near the elevator result in lots of waking up during the night. Groups laughing and talking at 3am and 5am, and the elevator arrival bell dinging and dinging throughout the night. We thought about calling security at 3am -- but we kept hoping the group would break-up. They did, but not for 25 minutes.
We're platinum members. We didn't ask for a suite upgrade. We asked for a nice room. The young woman at the desk looked at a print-out plan of hotel and told us that 622 was just the thing: great location in the hotel (completely wrong) and looking over a traffic circle with a sculpture (not exactly).
Otherwise, this is a typical Westin with a good location.More
