This place is a prototypical 'Roadhouse' - an excellent beer selection, excellent, casual, boistrous atmosphere, with lots of flat screen/large screen TV's. The staff is VERY friendly & the service is good. The food is actually OK - better than Friday's, not as good as Tavern on the Green... The reason you go there is to have a solid meal, a beer or two, and good conversation with friends and the waitstaff... and this is my favorite for that in the Annapolis/Severn area...
Cost; $8.95 - $20 for entrees, beer is $2 (during happy hour 5-7), $4 otherwise...

I really don't understand the bad reviews. One, it is a roadhouse. Two, the food is quite good. They have a lot of great items on the menu. Three, the service is quite good. Four, if it really was as bad as some of these reviews imply, why is it so busy? The parking lot is full many nights. I have actually never been disappointed. The beer choices are excellent. Best to go on Tuesday for Prime Rib plus free oysters and shrimp at happy hour.

We wanted pizza on Black Friday after a day of shopping and Ram's Head was close to home. But the pizza was disappointing. Our teens shared a regular pizza and the crust seemed like pre-fab. Very boring, but lots of cheese so they said it was "okay". My husband and I shared their specialty pizza with basil and fresh tomatoes -- the crust did not hold up to the toppings so it was soggy. Hard to eat. Needed to be cooked more on the bottom or something. The service was good and the free appetizers for happy hour were a nice time killer while we awaited the pizza. Beer and drink prices were great too since happy hour last til 7 pm. I'd try them again but not pizza. We saw lots of people we knew there -- a nice "local" atmosphere.

Went there mostly to see a jazz act. Room is laid out kind of odd. Stage is in the middle, so most people see the side or back of the musicians. Food was OK.
