“excellent home away from home”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 5 April 2013

Wonderful place to stay while in Annapolis, especially if you have someone at the Naval Academy. Charlotte and Bill are wonderful hosts. We had a marvelous time and I would recommend it to anyone. The amount of history we learned was awesome. Breakfast was excellent and being able to visit with other guests was great. We were able to visit with a couple from England.

Bill loves to share is wealth of knowledge with our guests and so glad you enjoyed your chats with him. I, then, come in to help guide you through your days in Annapolis - although having your grandson at USNA was all the guidance you really needed to help you have a fulfilling stay in Annapolis. Hope to see you next time you are in town.

We enjoyed meeting both of you and were happy to reopen our B&B just as you arrived. After being closed for Jan & Feb this year for some upgrading work in our B&B it is always wonderful to have great guests like you stay with us!

My husband and I took a weekend trip to Annapolis, MD for our anniversary and we stayed at the Flag House Inn. The Flag House is a wonderful Bed and Breakfast. It is located directly across from the visitors entrance to the United States Naval Academy and two blocks from the charming downtown shops and restaurants. Bill and Charlotte were incredibly accommodating and served a delicious homemade breakfast in the morning. There is on-site parking which is wonderful. You can park your car and forget about it until you leave. We will definitely stay at the Flag House Inn again.

My husband and I have spent 3 lovely overnight pre-Christmas get-aways at the Flag House Inn in the past 5 or so years. The Flag House is a very comfortable, welcoming, convenient B&B in Annapolis, directly across from the Main Gate of the Naval Academy, with parking on-site. Charlotte and Bill are extremely good hosts, who are very willing to help with restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. They also provide a very good breakfast. We look forward to our return visit!

Exceptional location. Walk to all the sites, USNA, restaurants and dock. Highly recommend. B&B is better than the pics. Bill and Charlotte gave us wonderful recommendations for dinner. Looking forward to returning again. Parking available on site helps but we never needed the car until we left.

Room Tip: Book the tavern tour through ZServe. Harry browns is a wonderful restaurant or relax at the bar

My girlfriend and I went to Annapolis to celebrate my birthday on a Saturday. Upon ringing the bell, we were greeted by the innkeeper Charlotte. She was absolutely charming. When we stepped into the foyer, we noticed the interesting historical US Navy/ nautical theme present. Our room was great and had touches of home. The sitting room downstairs had a great variety of magazines and books along with a fireplace. The cost and location to the center of town was fantastic. It lies about one block from Dock Street and across the street from the US Naval Academy. Parking was very convenient and on site which was great.

On Sunday, we had a terrific breakfast that included a delicious quiche with fruit, juice, coffee and homemade bread. This was enhanced when we met Bill who is a wonderful conversationalist and an expert on the Naval Academy history and international affairs. After breakfast Charlotte gave us many options so we could entertain ourselves around town.

We felt very welcome and enjoyed every minute we were there. We would love to go back and stay there during the summertime. Highly recommended for anyone staying in Annapolis.

It was our pleasure meeting both of you and welcoming you to our home on your short but sweet stay in Annapolis. Coming back in the summer will allow you the opportunity to get out onto the water and see our beautiful city from the water which is a totally different and enchanting view - especially on a sunset cruise.

My wife and I had a short but fantastic one night stay with Charlotte and Bill. Both were very kind and welcoming, the room was clean and ready for us, and Charlotte gave us some tips about places to go in town. And it is indeed only 1 block from Ego Alley!
