My husband and I spent an evening in Annapolis and stayed at The Flag House Inn. I found it during an internet search and thought it looked nice from the pictures. We were pleased beyond our expectations. Bill and Charlotte are the perfect hosts for their beautiful home they have opened to guests. You can tell they have put alot of research and thought into the decor. We were surprised to find that Bill does all the decorating including the window treatments - wow! You feel like you are staying with family in a HOME. They are warm, kind, knowledgable and will help you enjoy your stay anyway they can. Hopefully you'll be lucky enough to enjoy Charlotte's blueberry french toast - it's to die for - truly homemade! We'll definitely go back and we'll recommend this over any other accomodations in the Annapolis, MD area to family and friends.

This was the first B & B for my wife and I, and we were not sure what to expect. It was also our first visit to Annapolis. We stayed on a Friday and Saturday night in early May, 2008. Our hosts, Charlotte & Bill were very friendly and helpful. Their knowledge of the Naval Acadamy was invaluable (their son graduated from the the acadamy) and their recommendations on restaurants were "right on".
We thought their B&B was excellent, filled with sea-faring memorabilia and the accomodations were outstanding.
We will return!!!

My wife and I stayed at the Flag House Inn for our anniversary and we were both very pleased with our choice. The proprietors (Charlotte & Bill) are gracious and accomodating - and gave excellent advice on local dining & attractions; our room was spotless; breakfast was excellent; and the location of the Inn is in the heart of historic Annapolis. We would highly recommend the Flag House Inn.

We just returned from a short get-away vacation to Annapolis, Maryland. We stayed at The Flag House Inn (B&B) and we could have not made a better selection. The location of the B&B put us within walking distance of all attractions that we were interested in (Naval Academy, historical sites, restaurants, shopping, etc).

After visiting Annapolis and having a better understanding of the parking (or the lack of) in the area, the Flag House Inn's on-site parking was a major plus.

Their home was exquisite. The décor was centered around the setting of Annapolis. Their knowledge of the area was very impressive. They had an abundance of information of the area in the community area of the B&B as well as in our room. They were available to answer any questions we might have in regards to the area, meals, shopping, and/or sites to visit and see.

Our room was very accommodating. We felt very comfortable and relaxed staying away from our home. The owners, Bill & Charlotte, made our first visit to Annapolis a memorable one. Their knowledge of the area and their hospitality made us feel very comfortable in their home.

The breakfast meals were excellent and the conversations around the table fascinating. We enjoyed not only Bill and Charlotte’s company but their other guests as well.

We highly recommend the Flag House Inn.

Couldn't have been more perfect. Right in downtown Annapolis, 1/2 block from the docks. Our host met us outside in their off street parking area to help us carry our bags in. The house is beautiful, and perfectly spotless. Our room was very spacious and nicely appointed. The bed was so comfortable, I almost didn't want to get up, but I was so glad I did since breakfast was great! Our host and hostess were delightful. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect get-away.

We have just returned from 4 days/3 nights in Annapolis, MD. We stayed at the Flag House Inn which is a magnificent Bed and Breakfast right in the heart of town. We were so sad to leave because it felt like we were leaving family and home. In keeping with the spirit of Annapolis, the Flag House Inn is rich with nautical and historical treasures. It is beautifully decorated, yet comfortable - you truly will feel that you are at home. The owners provide incredible service. We had expected a light breakfast but were provided with an exceptional, full, hot meal. In addition, we received input on where to go and what to see as this was our initial visit to Annapolis. By far, it will not be our last. We strongly encourage visitors to Annapolis to stay at the Flag House.

Staying at this intimate and lovely Inn is a special treat. The owners have achieved the perfect balance between attentiveness to the needs of their guests and the desire of their guests for restfulness and privacy. We loved the location and the available on-premises parking is rare in this unique town. We especially like the close location to the US Naval Academy - a walking distance of about 300 ft. and an historic site no one should miss when in Annapolis. We would stay here again and again!
